Thread: HTML _can we mod the interface? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found a thread on another forum discussing using browsers as external libraries for Poser 11, and that has made a world of a difference for this mac user's experience. Not only is scrolling and grabbing things easier, but I can have multiple tabs open to different libraries!
Found in a thread called "External Library tricks" thanks to Nethworks, Fenric and dmacrae2013.

I think I have discovered this to be a Mac system (El Capitan) problem. As I look closely at all my apps this annoying thin scroll bar is everywhere. It just seems more prominetly harder to control inside of Poser though.
Sorry to take up everyones time with this post, as it really appears to be a platform issue. Apple seems to think nerds have perfect eyesight and mouse precision.

I thought I was on to something with the scaling factor in the preferences, but the scroll bars remain thin at any scale factor. I want mine to look like bagginsbills above ;)

Your scroll bar look fantastic! I'm using Macosx El capitan, Poser Pro 11. My base broswer is firefox.

Actually you can run the library from your browser if you prefer. Most use it inside of Poser though.
This sounds cool, is this found in the poser guide? I would be interested in figuring out how to do this as might be able to actually easily grab or modify the scroll bars.
Thread: New html 5 libraries | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I see it now in the extended panel. Not only tag, but room to put in the creator and lots of other information.

Yes, love the new parameter dials! Also just found the quick library hide/unhide button nice to be able to quickly hide it to focus on the stage. The ability to scroll through objects in the paramaeter dial at the top is a great ideal. Can't wait to really dig in and play around now. At least one of my favorite Applications appears to be forging into the future. Now if Someover at Victoria Land can get Bryce moving along I would be sooooooo happy!
Thread: Carrara beta updated | Forum: Carrara
Carrara 8.5.1.19 appears to be working nicely on mac 10.10.3. Now if they could just go get Bryce into working! I miss my Poser/Bryce/Carrara workflow. I have not spent much time trying to work with Gen 2 in the Carrara update much as yet, but it is loading them up rather nicely so far; however, I do keep finding breaks in the texture seams most often right at the thighs.

I don't have Bryce easily acessible anymore, but I just imagined using David's tutorial on stacking terrains on something like this. Copy it and duplicate it and nudge it around with some differing textures. I bet it would give some suprisingly amazing abstract images. WIsh I had an extra computer here running Mac10.6.8 to play on. Any way cool stuff making me dream about playing in Bryce.

Very cool, I imagine lots of other Bryce materials like the oily water would look just as awesome.
Thread: Bryce 8 Development Funded Via Kickstarter | Forum: Bryce
I will truly miss Bryce as it is so empowering. For one thing It lets us create virtually any texture quickly and easily and apply it in so many different spaces and sizes and so on and so on. You could quite possibly spend a lifetime in the DTE and materials lab clicking on the randomize buttons creating texture after texture. Lots of power here going to waste if its not being developed further. I don't know the guys and gals that created the orginal project, but I know they were awesome brains. Bryce was kinda like Rock and Roll. It was a great ride! My next upgraded computer will be sorely lacking without Bryce... but...Myself I will do my best to keep a machine around running my Bryce until the last mac capable of 10.6.8 crashes! I love Rock N Roll!
Is this an emotional post, you bet your stars it is... but it is just software in the end. Now where did I place those Poser diskettes that led me to Bryce?

Wow Franontheedge, I don't know if its because I wear glasses or not but that image just really jumps out off the screen at me. I've noticed lately with polarized or coated lenses blue on black in HD screens just really pops.

Still here. But really got addicted to Runescape for many years, but have broken free of that so spending a lot of time once again in Bryce, Carrara and Poser. Mostly check in over at the other forum with the victoria creators. Nothing new to really show though.
