Ron, that is so nice of you! :) There are so many nice people in this forum and you are one of them! How about another group hug? ;) No, wait, we'd better wait for geep, he missed the last one! :-D I AM working on a cat right now and I'm sure I'll need some advice on it, so I'll post it here when I get to that point. Thank you, Ron, and everybody else, for your encouragement and help. Sue

I agree with everybody above. I am so glad that I found this wonderful community where there is always somebody to help with questions or problems and where people make me laugh or think. I check the forums several times a day - in fact, the only drawback is that sometimes I spend too much time reading posts and not enough time working on my projects! ;)
Thread: Building a better cat | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Lyrra, Sorry I forgot to thank you for your suggestion about the eyes, it will really be helpful. You are right, this is another area where we need to change things and I think your method will work well. :)
Thread: Building a better cat | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, the Poser cat leaves a lot to be desired. The lower jaw is totally wrong and I think the legs are too long, too. Especially the front ones. It's as if they had put a somewhat cat-looking head and tail on a dog's body. The other thing I don't like is the pupil. It's too tall and narrow in my opinion; it gives a vicious look to the poor creature. I'm working on a simple image with a cat in it and this is one of the things I'm trying to change. I think I'm making progress with grouping and morphing; I'll show you when I'm done. :)
Thread: About as "Off Topic" as you can get... Hotmail & The Void | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It seems like I used to be able to go to Hotmail inside AOL before; the problem started to happen a couple of weeks ago. As for AOL, we used to have gateway.net but they stopped providing internet service. Actually, we had more problems with them than with AOL. I used to resist using AOL, but I have to admit that I haven't really had any problems with them.

Hi, No, I haven't noticed anything like that with Hotmail. The only thing I've experienced is that I can't open Hotmail with the AOL browser because if I do, everything freezes. I have to open it in Internet Explorer to prevent this, and the other day it still froze on me. But my e-mails have been fine.
Thread: Texturing a cat? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great! These will be so helpful, thank you very much! :) Yesterday I did download the cat textures by schnaps, but when I opened the zipped folder, there was nothing inside. This has happened to me a few times before, I don't know why. :(
Thread: Help! Problem with eyebrows and eyelashes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi Linda, For the eyebrows (and upper eyebrows) and the eyelashes you need to do the following: 1. Set the Transparency Minimum and the Transparency Maximum to 100%. 2. Set the Transparency Falloff to 0%. 3. For the texture map, load the head texture. 4. For the transparency map, load the transparency map. If you did all these and you still got the results in your picture, then I don't know what could be wrong. I hope you'll be able to get the results you want. Sue
Thread: Millennium Baby | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm with you, Ron, I could also use the Millenium Girls and Boys - I have 2 images in mind where I will need kids. I also agree that this baby looks much better than Frankenstein's offspring in Poser. :) Yeah, it would be better with hair, but of course Vicky and Mike also come bald...
Thread: Waiting for Michael and Vicky | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yes, I knew that Mike and Vicky would not come with textures. I figured that I'd wait for a sale. ;) I've been looking around and found some very good texture maps in the free section here and on other websites. Thank you everyone for all your help and the tips! Sue
Thread: Waiting for Michael and Vicky | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay, I figured out the resolution question: I'll need to get some high resolution textures for them. I just used the default texture in the picture. (I only changed the colors.)
