A couple of little tid bits to add. 1.If you are going to add many textures, brushes, patterns or anything under/in the Presets folder, beware; the more you add to the folder, the slower Photoshop will become. If you notice my .PSDs above you will see that they are a very large file and I do not many in this folder. Just create a new folder somewhere else on your comp. and follow the path to it. 2. If you marquee around an object you can add texture, color, or almost anything else you want without having a new layer to deal with, this is a quicky way add what you want. I commonly use the methode to add Sunbeams to a Photo or piece of art using the Color Burn & Dodge tools, after I Laso the area I want to effect. Shhhhh,.... that's suppose to be a secrete!!!

Thread: image ready animation for screensaver | Forum: Photoshop
I make animated GIFs with Xara3D, mostly texts. I will save the product in my "PICTURES" file, that's where all my Wallpaper is stored, I can then go the desktop and right click on it and set my animated GIF as Wallpaper. It then runs on my desktop like a Screensaver. I am unsure if will work for an ImageReady Document, but I don't see why it would not. I used this method with other peoples "FREE" Animated GIFs and it still works.

Thread: how to make glow pulse in image ready | Forum: Photoshop
You can make 5 to 10 different images with your text and the glow effect. Use the glow effect at different "GLOW" levels on each image. I did this with a dog for a buddy only I used 10 to 15 frames (images) in between fade Up and Fade down so it would look smooth. Play around with it. It will take a little time, but you will be proud of yourself when you finish.
Merry Christmas,
