Thanks for all your feedback, keep it coming! Yep, it's brilliant fun to play with and just think how big a 300 frame animation would turn out at even with the best compression. I've been banging on about this stuff since I first saw it on Macromedia. Believe me, I'm just barely scratching the surface. I'm restricted to a lower poly count due to my operating system but expect better things soon. I know absolutely nothing else about anything else but at least this piece of software development by Curious we can discuss.

Thread: What is your idea of "sexy?!" | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What a fascinating thread, and useful too. It's interesting to see that Spike has got a few votes from the ladies. Personally, one of the sexiest things I heard recently was the female section of a choir speaking a piece from the Messiah. Just try building a fetish out of that....

A couple of general points, first: we are not all American, secondly: freedom of speech still remains and it is still possible to exercise that freedom without attacking those who do not share your view for, in attacking them you deprive others of the right that you hold so dear.

I've often wondered whether it was possible to have a different shaped magnet zone, have you tried it with a cube? ...... (if that's not being too personal... ever had those days when everything you say has a double meaning?))

Thread: Excuse me but what is FLASH? | Forum: Animation
By and large we agree Slynky, the only point I think I disagree with you on is that it's the people who use Flash who have a long way to go, not the program itself
Thread: WORKING ON AN RPG TYPE ANIMATION, WHO CAN HELP ME?! | Forum: Animation
In my experience these collaborations rarely get going but that's not a reason in itself. All that's needed is a bit of commitment. I'm an animator, my modelling skills are limited we would need a decent modeller if we were to go down the 3D route.

Thread: Flash or Director/Shockwave? | Forum: Animation
Macromedia, who made both confused the issue so I'm not surprised you're confused. I finally got the hang of it when I started playing with Director. Flash exports in the .swf format but by convention uses the Flash name. Director exports in the .dir format but again by convention uses the shockwave name for it's files. Flash confuses everything by saving it's own files under the fla extension which isn't the one used for the web. It's getting even more confusing now that Director is exporting in the shockwave 3d format and needs .w3d files to import. Flash (that's the files with the .swf extension) produces files mainly for export to the web and these are the ones you'll find all over the place, Director creates files which are mostly used for CD production like the ones you'll find on the front of magazines like Computer Arts. There's some crossover between the two because Director and Flash both create standalone .exe files and Director can use Flash in it's construction. If you want to know more you could try www.macromedia.com or come over to my list flash_erotica@yahoogroups.com you'll find it under computer animation on Yahoo Groups. Neither of these programs are easy to start with, although Flash might be the easier of the two. Both use an element of programming but this wouldn't be necessary until you became well acquainted with the programs. As to actual programming, I'm graphics based too and haven't really felt the need to go much further than a bit of action scripting in Flash, yet I can still do all I need to to get my animations on the net complete with the interactivity that Flash gives. If you join my group there are some downloads on the home page that give you an idea of what's possible. Thumb to kink of it, you could do a search for me here I've got some Flash stuff hidden away.

Make sure you download his version of Eve, it's excellent. If I'm not mistaken there's a link to Latexa too.
