Are you sure your spam filter didn't toss it out? Or that your ISP didn't filter it out before it even got to you in the first place? I got my serial number in my email two weeks before they even shipped Poser 6 and Shade to me. Still, it seems odd they would have to email us the serial number instead of including it in the package with the disk. I wonder why they did it that way?

If you have something made by Cray, that might get the job done. :o) Seriously, at least a gig of memory and a fast processor, at least over 1 GHz.
Thread: Textures in poser 6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In Poser 6 load the figure from the character library. Then go to the pose library. Select the MAT file specific to the character you are using and click the checkmark at the bottom of the library list. Make sure you have the character selected before trying to apply the MAT pose and not a prop or other object. Make sure the texture is intended for that character. V2 textures won't work on V3, one type of clothing item texture won't wok on another.

I don't know what character is being used, but DAZ's Victoria 3.0 has an inhale morph in the body morph package.
Thread: Major problems with shadows in P6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
That is the best solution, using the single sided square.
But if you absolutely, positively MUST use the double sided
or hi-res square, adding a tiny amount of displacement in the
material room to the square and in the render setting checking
on Use Displacement Maps and setting Min Displacement Bounds
to 1.000 will also do the trick.
The problem is that if the front and back side are too
close together, you end up seeing parts of both sides.
Displacement gives the front and back side enough separation
that you only see on side. Of course with a single sided
square there is only one side to see, so you don't get
that problem.
Wow, poor guy went through all that trouble, wiping out
his P6 and reloading it for such a simple little problem.
I feel sort of sad for David.
Thread: Is there a tutorial for using bump maps in Poser 6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The strange black spots show up when the bump setting is
too high. They are actually tiny shadows. As far as how
much to apply, it just depends on the effect you are
trying to achieve.
I think displacement only needs to be checked when you are
using displacement maps. I think any paint program that is
capable of creating a jpeg in black and white and
shades of grey can be used to create both bump maps
and displacement maps. I use Paint Shop Pro because it
can do layers so I can use a template and paint over it
on another layer.
Thread: How to mirror in P6? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Irene, it looks like he is getting his reflections, so I think he is already got the set-ups right. It's just the reflection itself is screwed up. I think it is one of the P6 bugs that Maxx talked about. I was having problems with refractions so I emailed Curious Labs an sent a picture. They said it was a bug in reflections and refractions and the service release would fix it, as Maxx also mentioned.
Thread: Poser 6 SP1 Soon - a defination - what am I missing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
? Keep treating your consumers like this and soon you will have none left.
Just the whiney, impatient ones. I am more than will to give
them the time to do it right, instead of having to wait for
another one because they were pressured into getting it out
the door before they were sure it was ready.

I wonder who was the one lone congressman to vote against the bill that all 395 other congressmen voted for? And what the people who elected this person think about it.
Thread: Can you change the color of the shadows during rendering? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't know of a way to change the shadow color outside of postwork.
But if you just want the shadow lighter, more of a grayish tone,
then select the light that is procing the shadow.
Then in the parameter dials pop-up, select Parameters:Other:Shadow
and set the value of shadow to something less than one.
for your scene I would estimate you should set it to
about 0.6000

Thread: More than a couple of questions... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Why would dynamic clothing take a lot more RAM than would conforming clothing? It would seem like it would be the other way around, because conforming clothes has all the morphs built in and with dynamic clothing the shape comes from the program modifying the mesh. CR2 files for clothing tend to be larger than PP2 files, so where is the extra RAM expended on the dynamic clothing?
