Just a quick further to this so as we don't get confused - most of the changes were only from uppercase to lower case as my previous server was a Windows machine which is a little more tolerant of naming conventions.

Thread: Here is a ScreenShot of my Problem | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have seen the same problem before - I believe if you open the pz2 file in notepad you will see that the pz2 file and the rsr are actually joined together - there in't a seperate rsr file. Something has happened and the files have overwrote each other or it is a pirated copy of the mat files and the "joining" of the pz2 and rsr is an artifact of the process used to compress the pirate files.

Anton, Gee ... I think I will forget about Vicki 3 and just swap my crummy jeans for your $US70 pair..... :) I just cant imagine a pair of jeans that cost about $AUD130! But then again - we do pay about -90 cents per litre for petrol, so I guess what we lose on the merry go round we gain on the swings.......

Anton, I appreciate where you are coming from and I will gladly exchange my good pair of jeans at $AUD30.00 for Vicki 3. As for the free stuff available - I will reserve judgement on that and not pass comment as Renderosity seems to have gone well beyond the days when I used to visit "Poser Fun Stuff"

"I've spent about $1,000 at the Renderosity MarketPlace during the past 18 months. I don't know how much at Daz but plenty there as well. I am FAR from rich but I also know that practically EVERYTHING costs" Never was a truer word said - howeverin marketing there is a direct relationship between turnover and profit. I know I make more profit on turnover on cheaper items than I do by selling fewer expensive items. Even you overseas types must realize that Kmart and such like worked that out long ago............. I dunno maybe the US market is far more competitive given the current econic environment?

I don't know about anyone else - but add up all you have spent on both Poser and stuff from Daz as well as Renderosity and numerous other merchants(and again - no offence to Daz - they are a business after all) - but I think in total what I have spent on Poser and figures I could have bought myself a copy of Maya. Looks like this will be one expensive hobby I will have to bypass in future ...........

Hang on guys - you are talking $US here - not all of us live in the good old USA.... Base upgrade for me in Australia is $46 - pretty expensive little toy for a hobby .............add onto that all the accessories..... Considering the original Poser program only cost me $AUD 400 plus upgtrades to P4, Pro Pak and P5 ........... $US77.00 = about $AUD140.00 - one model ????????? Bit like the original cost of Victoria .... steep!

Thread: Web Ring Top 15 gripe | Forum: Community Center
I may be a dumb Aussie but ..... This isn't just a top 15 gripe - I quote the web ring referal rules "Your position in the Web Ring is calculated when the Ring is resequenced. It is a function of recently referred members (last 30 days), total members referred, and total visitors referred. There is a strong emphasis on recent member referrals in the calculation. Be sure to use the link code below to ensure your position in the ring. Members with minimal referral activity are deleted from the ring/sponsorship program after 30 days." Ah - excuse me but most of the people who would want to view Poser sites come from within the community itself. Maybe to comply and not get deleted we should perhaps send out spam letters - or perhaps the wording needs changing? Really who but someone with an interest in Poser is going to type into a search engine "Poser Graphics" or something similar? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
