I'm going to try the
"Use the find function to locate the "conforming 0" line.
Change that to "conforming 1" that lisarichie mentioned and get back to ya.

**RH you are right from what you gather, there was no "fit to" for the original figures clothing from the start but it still works when you right click.

its not parented to anything. I see now that you can right click on the clothing and select fit to and have it conform like poser. It works for now but what i really need to know is why it doesnt show up as a default option from the get go.
my other piece that i constructed did. Do i fit to using the right click and then save it back to the library? will that cause any issue when i go back to poser?
Any help would be great

Which export setting is the culprit?
I use include body part names in poly groups and
include existing groups in poly groups
This gives me awsome, no clean up work needed, objs for maya! Just one flaw, the exploding
I now used everything checked off to stop the exploding.
The only problem is I now need to export piece by piece so not to end up with one solid polygon and no clear way to resave my morphs body part by body part.
So good news is i fixed my current problem, bad new is no more maya for my morphing. Zbrush only :(

i have also tried exporting JUST the lFoot or rFoot, doing the morph and loading it back in.

My morphs keep exploding. I'm using poser to maya to poser.
I never had this problem up until a few days ago and I don't know whats changed. Can you think of anything I'm doing wrong? Or a setting that has been mis-tweeked?

I forgot client is using DAZ, I don't suppose hair translates over to daz does it?

No good, still exploding!?!!!?!!?
I exported the shoes from poser as an obj
import maya (scale stayed the same as any other figure)
adjusted and exported as obj on each seperate piece (lFoot, rFoot, etc...)
no error, loads fine, set dial to 1, Explodes............

No, I opened the original obj file. Maya shows all of these pieces as being separate from the get-go. lFoot, lToe, etc, etc. I only changed one piece of the geo for each side ( lFoot, rFoot) and saved each one as an individual obj. I then loaded morph target for each Foot piece. If there had been a problem with the number of verts, it would have told me. I have not had this problem before in maya with it reordering verts.
So...
ideas?

Ive gotten the ball and hair to save as a prop, but the ball and hair will not save to the library parented to the figure... it doesnt say its not, but when reopend from the library it is not.

Ok I'm back again, Poser is doing the same thing... flipping my normals.
I made a simple ring in Maya, extruded a line of polys to bevel an edge, exported the obj, imported to poser. The normals are flipped.
Is there ANY way to flip normals, or, make normals not matter in Poser???
edit: I see it, when i import it.
