Thread: Avoiding the "bone flipping" symmetry bug when rigging | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This might sound like a dumb suggestion, but what about building (or editing) a rig with PHI Builder, bringing it into Poser, and see if you can set the values without them flipping. I remember something about this when I was new to Poser, some 5 years ago.- Starkdog

Awesome model!!! It is trully amazing what can be done with few polys. I can't wait to see how she does when posed. I did have some generic pants, shirt, dress base meshes that I am re-building, and I would try to make some things for her to wear. -Starkdog

Baggins,
I'm having trouble with the shaders. I do as indicated per instructions, but when I run Python script "vssMainButtons.py', I get nothing. I am running Poser7 SP3. I think I read somewhere that SP3 messes with Python. Should I revert back to SP1 or 2? The lights work fine, and the prop loads fine, fwiw. -Starkdog

Bagginsbill, That looks awesome!!! Please tell me how you did this on top of a skin shader. Thanks, -Starkdog
Thread: Searching Pants (Jeans, shorts etc.) with "unzip" or "open" morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
TrekkieGirl has a set of morphing "Drop-em" jeans for the G2 guys. With WW or crossdresser, you can convert them to whatever character you need. I don't have that set, but it looks interesting. Wishmaster also has or had a set of morphing jeans in the freebie section here for V4 with unzip, and droop morphs. I also highly recommend V4 Jeanz by 3DWizard at DAZ- fantastic everyday jeans.

BB,
I posted this over at RDNA, but I'll also ask here in case things get lost:
I'm working on a scene with V4 on a beach. I've got the wet/oily part down, but I am looking for a way to get her feet to look like sand has stuck to them, like in real life. Other than creating a sock with transmaps and sand textures, is there a way to add a shader with masks? This way, we could make different parts of her body sandy, yet still be able to have an underlying texture set? Thanks, -Starkdog

OK,
Here is an update. I found a killer deal at Frye's on a 1TB HD. I bought it, as well as 2 GB of additional ram and Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I've got all installed, and waiting for Vista to finish partitioning my 750GB Poser drive. Next will be the fun/painful part; Re-installing P7P, Carrara6, DS, Hex2.5... etc. Does anyone have a recommendation on a firewall? Zone Alarm does not support 64-bit Vista, only 32 bit Vista.
Thanks, -Starkdog

SVDL,
There are so many choices now, it is confusing. I'm typing this message on my old-as-dirt Dell P4 2.4Ghz with 256mb rambus machine. It feels slow like a 386!!! I'm doing Windows update on my newest machine, which is an HP a1540n. It has an Athlon 64X2 processor, 2.0 Ghz and 2 Gb of ram. Can I install Vista 64 on this? I am so out of the loop on this, I feel really dumb. -Starkdog

Vista, Quad Core, and Network Attached Storage sounds really good to me now. Luckily, I was able to get my "newer" backup system running. I'm in the process of re-partitioning the HD. Even though the Partition Magic I have is outdated, it works greatly!!!
