It will come in time. It takes a while to get the lighting right and for each scene the light will react differently because the settings aren't the same. I had a look at your gallery and a couple of images that you uploaded recently do seem a tad dark to my eyes. Don't let peoples comments put you off, just enjoy what you are doing.ย

Good point made about the content and people becoming complacent. One thing I always say to anyone is build your own models. It's far more satisfying to know that the scene created is unique to you. I like the idea of mini challenges as well. I think that could be fun and get the forum a bit more lively.ย

Thanks to those who entered, but still a poor showing once again (numbers wise not talent). I was hoping more people would get involved, not just because it was my challenge it seems the numbers taking part have been dwindling for some time. Please don't answer here ย because it makes it more confusing when adding up votes. I'll wait until we have the winners announced and then maybe we can debate it on another thread.

The froth was done with a volumetric cloud mat - cotton ball. In the dte I increased the noise as before. That was applied to a seperate cylinder which sits on to of the champagne textured one.

First I choose a basic water mat, and from there opened up the mat lab and changed the colours as shown

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, anything to do with the movies as such. Not just a film scene, but it could be you at home watching a movie, a render of a cinema etc etc. I'll knock up a poster for the Bryce gallery to see if we can get more people involved this time.

Nice job everyone!
For the next challenge I'd like to propose this - "A Night at the Movies". Create a scene which pays homage to cinema in one form or another. There are no rules in this challenge other than try to make as much of it Bryce as possible. So imports are allowed as is postwork. When you submit your entry be sure to give a brief description of what your scene represents, as I'm sure not everybody will be familiar with some scenes.
