Thread: Eve 3 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm sorry. I tried to do a search for him right now. And it seems that the search function in Renderosity is down at the moment. But when it gets back up, - do a search. Go to his HOMEPAGE, - and you'll find Eve there. I'm hitting the sack in a few. but if the search function works tomorrow morning, - I'll post the link to you Britt
Thread: Conforming clothes won't behave | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmm.... I'm definately NOT an expert! But P4 cloths does not conform automatically to Eve. So when I model thingies, - I import Eve (not Posette) into my modelling program. Otherwise it won't work. Eve is a joint work of Traveler (and other very talented folks). Do a search for Traveler. Go to his pages, - and read what he says about transforming Posettes cloths to Eve. Good luck Britt

Thread: I'm learning the hard way... *lol* but lookie!!! and a ?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow! :) Thank you, Sharen! I know I'm pretty good with textures. I LOVE "photoshopping" (uhm... I guess that's a girlie thingy... we all like shopping this time of the year! :) I'm still wondering though... how do you "see" that a model is in-side-out? I've read one of your tutorials (the chest), - and it simply said that you "knew" that you had to invert the model... Exactly HOW do you know that? Britt .. hanging head... knowing that I DO have impertinent questions!
Thread: Looking for a conforming tutorial. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
laughing hard... and pointing down to my previous post!!!! :) OK here is where I have learned ( A LOT) How to make a posable ginger bread man: http://www.jabberdoggy.com/Tutorials/Gingerbread/GBMatrix.html NOTE: If you're trying to conform a sweather or an upper body... make SURE you name the parts correctly it's lForeArm and rForeArm (NOT rForearm/lForearm as it says in the tutorial.... That cost me some gray hairs, - and some others that I pulled out.... read previous posts) Nerd had a wonderful conforming tutorial. Do a search here, - and make SURE you read through his conforming boots tutorial. then there is our very own BryceTech. :) He has a http:www.posertech.com the site isn't fully operational yet, - but the stuff that you'll need is mostly there. Then, - I'm the dummy person to ask. lol I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you... and I'm making my own mistakes as fast as I can! Good luck! Britt

so that maybe others don't have to walk around as hairless as the poor P4 kid... (I still have SOME hair left). I hope I don't bore you with all this. Maybe I should make a tutorial... All my hopeless newbie mistakes! lol Britt
Thread: "Use spherical falloff zones"... a bit confuzzled! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Aha! I suspected that the zones shouldn't really fall off like that! :) Thank you, Phil! I've been thinking about increasing the values for the cloths, - after all they DO surround the body parts. I understand that the "center" values need to be the same, - but are there other values that actually also should be increased for the clothes to conform naturally? Thinking for instance of a skirt. I'd assume that you only use the Hip (see, - I even remembered to CAP the H), for the legs, - in which case the end of the skirt naturally would have different end points than the hips? Britt
Thread: Modelling clothes (tall, lanky, beautiful women need not apply) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm just dipping my toes in the cloths modelling world, - but have found AMAPI6.1 extremely good for the price you have to pay. Britt
Thread: General Poser Poll..please read. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
:o I haven't even DARED to check the size of my Poser directory. I know one thing! It's BIG. I use WIN 2000
Thread: When you have named a bodypart wrongly... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you, Questor. I'll get straight to it! :) I'm not using the millenium kids, - just the ordinary P4 kids. But it looks like it's the same with these, as it is for the mill kids. So I think I'll just pose them manually. When I do, - the clothings that I've conformed (with the right names for the body parts! lol) seem to fit. Britt
Thread: Interior shoot --Japanese/Asian theme | Forum: Photography
Attached Link: http://www.db-online.com/travel/asia/asjapan.htm
Hmm... Not sure how to help you. John and I went for a trip 8 weeks to Asia, - and stopped by in Tokyo for a while. There are some pictures on our travel pages that might give you some ideas. But please bear with me, the pictures are of no high quality. Also. *lol* if you click on the links in the travel site, - you'll find that there are a lot that don't work, - since this is a work in progress, - and I never seem to be able to catch up! Britt PS... the singapore links work... but Singapore is VERY western. Not much "asian" to find there.Thread: An angel smiled to me, - l'ange au sourire | Forum: Photography
