Thread: *sigh* Probably a very stupid question about eyes | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Problem is that it "sees" the rest of the map. I've even tried to add some silly marks to see if the map actually "shows" and it does. It's just the eyes that are weird! Should I make the iris color brown in the material selection? Britt

Thread: How to get text in to poser? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
BT taught me the "export trick" in Bryce: 1) after importing your file to Bryce, click the little "E" to the right of your model 2) In edit mode you can first smooth your object by clicking the smooth sphere. Then 3) Click CTRL + D - et voila! your export menu pops up. One problem is that Poser won't IMPORT the .obj files created in Bryce. But I work around that by using another file format that Poser reads. Good luck. :) Britt
Thread: Modelling SW. What do you use?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks guys! :) I think I'll try to be patient and do tutorials again and again. laughing I guess I'm just impatient, BT.. I want to be able to do things that I did in Simply 3D "right away" :) And your models are pretty convincing, BT (but I do think it has more to do with talent than with the tool! :) Britt

I've got a stetoscope. Mind you... I've done "nutthin'" to it, - it's an .obj file. I haven't UV-mapped it, or nuttin. mail me, and I'll send it to you Britt Disclaimer: You might prolly want to say you got them from me, - who got them from Micrographx (which is now a dead company), - the bits and pieces were boutght by Corel, - and I have written them several times to ask them how to "behave" with the Simply 3D models (who are plentyful, - and pretty good). They haven't responded yet. grin (it's been a couple of months!!!) They were originally in a very "odd" Simply 3D format, - and I've converted them to .obj format.
Thread: Hmm... how to fix the library | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I did the same thing, - and discovered the same problem. I called Corel, - gave them my version 2 serial Number, - and I got an "unlock key". That wasn't any problems at all. In fact the support was VERY good. :) Just call the 800-number on the software box. Good luck. Britt

Oh... :) I miss the Northern lights! They are so beautiful. Of course I don't see them here in FL. laughing I guess I'll have to go back to Norway to see that. B I guess no camera can capture them... but I wish! :)

Thread: T-rex in-side-out?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi again, Scott Micrograpx is bought by Corel. I've written to Corel, and asked them about the copyright to those models, - and how to handle it. Apparently they don't know yet (or the persons I've asked don't), because Simply 3D is a dead product (sadly!), and in order to get the models to work in Bryce/Poser, they need quite some work, AND editing. I'll wait a while, and then contact Corel again. I'll also ask the former Product responsible person who used to work for Micrographx about the copyright to those models. Thank you for warning me, though. :) Britt
Thread: T-rex in-side-out?? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great job, Scott! :)) I've got additional models - to the ones you've got. If you'd like them, just mail me. :) I'll work on my t-rex though. It might be a good learning process. :)) Thanks a lot! Britt
