No Trolls yet, but I did wrangle this from the link above. It's 3DS, and needs normals reversed on import. There are some other things there you might find useful as well. Enjoy.Thread: Multi Cam View Renders | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Repeatedly rendering, and then pasting the result to the background works as well, so long as you choose 'background image' in your rendering options, at least after the first one.

Bill Fleming has been one of my favorite artists and inspirations for over . . . umm . . . ( geez that long?! ) . . . yep. . . 6 or 7 years now.
I too have one of his books, read several of his tutorials, and will also flat out recommend anything by him to anyone.

Definitive information on HDRI in general is located at the link above. Dr. Paul Debevec invented this stuff. You can also download HDRShop there for free. It analyzes HDR images and generates the coordinates, color info, and intensity for a corresponding light dome. Useful if your application (i.e. Poser ) doesn't support HDRI directly. In fact, I believe this is how Shademaster created the 'RenderUpgrade' light set.Thread: Tailor Questions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I never got the cross talk to completely work, but I did get the MOR pose to apply to the pants with just one click!! That much is at least more simple. I did have to change all occurences of ':4' to ':1' though, not just on the 'BODY'.
Now to try that pose file. . . . :)
"It gives me a warm fuzzy."
May you enjoy many.
Thanks again.

Done.
I changed the display names because the targetGeom names already matched, as did the line below the 'figure' line. . . I'm probably misunderstanding your comment about the figure line, because I'm looking at the ERC line and I see this already (sample):
targetGeom PBMPearFigure
{
name PBMPearFigure
initValue 0
hidden 0
forceLimits 1
min -100000
max 100000
trackingScale 0.001
keys
{
static 0
k 0 0
}
interpStyleLocked 0
valueOpDeltaAdd
Figure 1
BODY:4
PBMPearFigure
deltaAddDelta 1
indexes 606
numbDeltas 606
deltas
.....
I'm supposing the relevant line is just below 'valueOpDeltaAdd' correct? If so then it should work already, unless (likely) I've oversimplified it for myself :)
Looking forward to your pose file, and thanks again. I'll drop in my Kati folder with your other cool stuff.

Momcat,
Thanks for the suggestion. I had thought to do something like that to save time in the future 'after' I tailored the garment, but it hadn't occurred to me to try it before on the figure to save even more time.
FyreSpiryt,
I would be delighted, not just to use, but to learn from as well. I'm no expert but it looks like Tailor at least attempts to add ERC to make the FBMs work. This of course only added to my confusion. :) One of the things I tried was editing the generated .cr2 to make the display names match those of the figure, but I just tried it on a couple of the morphs and I didn't notice any apparent effect. Thank you.
Thank you both. :)

If it's any comfort, I ran into the exact same problem with DAP on my first purchase at DAZ. I waited two days for an email response, and finally just called, after everyone here assured me they were just extremely busy and a bit shorthanded. But they 'did' take care of me.

I have a black background. I went to member options, 'My Profile' and chose it. The strange puked-chocolate-milk-brown on the top and sides still bothers me though. If anybody figures that one out, I'm all ears. . .er . . eyes. . . whatever. :)
Thread: Turn a PZZ into a PZ3? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you don't care to mess with your file association settings, then the old-fashioned way of just opening Winzip directly and using "File | Open Archive" from the menu (or the equivalent toolbar button) and browsing to it directly works just fine.
I was prompted to pick a name for the uncompressed file in the archive, complete with a suggestion. I obviously chose to just change the extension to '.PZ3'. BTW, since there isn't any path information stored with the .PZZ there isn't any need to worry about whether or not the 'Use Folder Names' box is checked or not when you uncompress it wherever.
I hope that's helpful for someone.

OK. Off topic but I've got to know something. What does posting just a period mean? I see it from time to time here but mostly thought it was someone just maybe being rude, but in my relativly short time lurking and occasionally posting, I've not known Sharen to be ever be rude. Just curious.
