This sucks royally...I have about 40 new emails in that account that I can't get to and it's my primary email account I've never gone so long without checking email even when on vacation...I think I'm going into withdrawl or something...I downloaded Firefox and I can't get to them from there either...does anyone know when Yahoo will be coming back up??

I normally wouldn't comment on something like this especially since I didn't see the images in question...but I feel the way the situation was handled is a little childish...I agree with Janine that the matter should have been brought to her...if you have a problem with someone's image the polite and adult way to handle the situation is to IM that person with your problem and if that person is unresponsive or rude then take it to an higher authority...that may not be the way the site mandates but as an adult most situations are best handled one on one...blasting someone in the forums is not the most adult approach...although it can be understandable if you are just asking for a clarification of the rule...a simple, I think this image is against the TOS does anyone else agree and most importantly can mods take a look...in this case it seems that Janine was just unaware of the TOS clause which when you really think about it is overbroad and makes little sense...maybe the TOS are a bit moronic in the sense that it is wrong to cover up nudity but perfectly okay to show nudes...as a big fan of nudity presented in an artistic manner (which is of course subjective) I just find it strange that a show of artistic modesty is penalized but just straight unartistic nudity is not...my understanding of the motive behind that particular clause in the TOS is that you don't want to show anyone masturbating not that you didn't want people to coverup... If I offended anyone I sincerely apologize for the effect of my words but not the content and if you are really sore about it just IM me and we can discuss your feelings...I'm always open to the possibility that I'm wrong and to Janine..I hope this matter is solved in your favor and maybe a change or clarification of the TOS will come out of it...your work is wonderful for an amateur and I hope you keep at it and keep posting...regardless of this...Jenn

Randy and Dialyn...thanks so much for your compliments and for your reassurances...I've had a couple of my friends go to the site just to make sure that I'm right when I say there isn't any spyware...they haven't found anything either...this is my first tutorial and a new experience for me and the last thing I would want is to have people think I would intentionally or otherwise harm their computers...If more people have experiences similar to Aeneas please let me know and I will remove the link...Jenn

Aeneas...I've been to this site many times and because it is a free homepage I expect fortunecity pop-ups but never have I encountered spyware this could be because I have every virus protection and spyware blocker possible...I had no idea there was spyware on the site so if you are not similarly protected of course be wary...several others have also gone to the site and other than the usual fortunecity pop-up they've not had a problem...thanks for letting me know about this but since I don't have another website I guess it's see it at your own risk.

"4) The background color ist just so awful.
Not a bug. Just a change to help us and the merchants present products to the customers in a more predictable environment."
I still don't understand why there's not an individual option to change the colors. Merchants can still present their products in a way to compliment the default color scheme and those who chose not to have it just miss out on the overall effect but at least they would bother to look. The way it currently is I don't look at the marketplace unless I get a message that my favorite merchants have something new out and this is quite a change considering that before the change I looked at What's New at least 3-5 times a day. I don't understand why it's a major problem to give all those who want to change the colors the option...that way everyone is happy. I know the saying you can't please all the people all the time but in this case it seems so easy to do so...just give the people who want the option to change the colors the right to do so...it doesn't truly effect me because I'm going to be broke this summer and won't be purchasing anything for a while but it just irks me that the PTB won't even consider just giving the option when all it requires is a simple change in code...the way the issue is handled pisses me off more than the changes themselves...that's just my 2 cents...Jenn

"Also, it may be helpful to know that more than 94% of our active members use the default off-white background. However, we do understand that, unfortunately, this particular color may not be desirable to all of our members." My first thought when seeing this is that at least 80% of those members are not truly active (just because you have an account that doesn't make you active). Probably 20% of those people even see the marketplace on a regular basis. I would think that most people who truly participate (post in gallery/forums and/or use marketplace) on this site have personalized their screens. Personally the background color hurts my eyes and since there seems to be no forthcoming solution such as personalizing the colors to something less harsh my only option is just to add merchants that I like to my favorites list and then directly purchase that way and if I miss new merchants oh well. This sucks since I usually visit the marketplace 3-5 times a day. I guess if there's a great product out there I'll see it in a gallery image so maybe I won't miss out too much. I think this way new merchants lose out but market research is market research...I think an opinion poll completed by members would probably have different results. I think the renderosity staff has done a good job of responding to comments and making certain changes but as to this matter I simply don't understand why allowing those who truly have issues with the color scheme to change it as they see fit is a problem. If research says white is best then that should be the default not the only option especially when the majority of members disagree. Jenn

Hi...I just have a quick question...are we going to have the option to change the color scheme soon? I have very sensitive eyes and so I can't look at the marketplace for more than a couple of seconds now...the set up looks okay it's just the color scheme is extremely harsh...I know it's new but I wanted to know if and when we'll have the option to change it...Jenn

Thread: Artist Rates? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It really depends on how big the publisher is...I've heard of rates from $20-$75 plus you have to should try to arrange to retain rights to post and make prints if you don't specifically arrange to retain rights in the US under work for hire rules the publisher would hold exclusive copyright rights.

No one has answered Khai's question...considering that I share an IP with dozens of people I'd really like to know if you ban the nick or IP??
