I'm assuming I should have mine set at 4? I think its currently set at 8 and that was default when I opened the dialog.
I'm rendering V4 + Fable Hair + Angel Lights, its still rendering in the background and has taken about an hour and a half so far.

if they are dials, just save the preset to the face library.if you want to combine them into 1 dial, i've made a pretty basic tutorial for it.

i've tried 2, 25, 42, 70.. it all leaves awkward gaps in the "ao" type shadows around her clothes.
its rendering right now ( precalculation went WAY faster with lower IC )

DoF is processed at render time. depth cue map allows u to postwork the dof in Photoshop, allowing greater control ( better quality with a lot less render time too )

it works in snow Leopard P8 sR1, but its a bit awkward.
if you type in say 90 for the first time, it will set it to 90. then if you type in another number, instead of scaling from 1/1 it scales from 0.9/0.9

i havent had a crash yet =x lol
so is this a problem with external runtimes or only the default.. or all ?

You'd be quite the silly goose to think someone - anyone - can release a piece of software and truly guarantee zero bugs.
I think what that statement on their site meant is that overall, everything will install, shouldn't get any outstanding errors that completely halt any use of the software.
Granted randomly generated incomplete library listings really put a dent in the time it takes you to work, it doesn't 100% stop all ability to use the software.

LOL BB, well I knew it was written in flash since i get the flash menu on right click. I tried searching P8 library problems but I pretty much fail at finding anything relevant to my issue.
Hopefully they get a fix out soon. I love the new poser and I got work to do. I don't wanna go back to the old stuff !

Just spamming the refresh button will keep listing a different # of files in the library folders. I tried reinstalling P8, the hot fix, P8 without the hot fix... installed flash player provided with P8 installer, updated from the website...
nothing seems to fix it. Makes poser pretty useless at the moment :/
