The nipple/bellybutton placement and eyelashes are the only real difference between Mike and Steph maps. I've used Samil's Beautiful Boy textures (for Mike) on Steph (with my own lash trans). Had to put clothes on her that covered the torso, though. :-) *shiver* Wasn't pretty.Thread: Getting Closer to Conformation | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yep. But my program has a few software oddities that I've just learned to live with or work around. I've never talked to anyone about this particular oddity before, so I just thought it was a limitation of P4. ;-) That's another one to add to my list :-)

The materials settings aren't on the dials. In P4, select the shirt, click Render in the top bar, click Materials in the menu that drops down. In the box that comes up, there will be a drop down menu on the right side. Choose the part you want to make transparent, then slide both the Transparency Min and Transparency Max all the way to 100% Make sure you have black in the highlight and ambient color boxes, and click OK. Texture templates are available at the bottom of the order page (link above).Thread: Getting Closer to Conformation | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Lyrra, Dial settings remain after conforming in P5? I have P4 still, and that's a minor stick in my craw. All dial settings that were there are lost when a clothing item is conformed. I used to have to make MOR poses for my clothes, too, until I figured out another way to do it. :-) I hear good and bad things about P5. I might just have to try it and decide first hand...

In other words, no need to mess with trans maps, because the OBJ file has been modeled and grouped with the material transparency option in mind. :-)

If there are different groups actually in the CR2, you can make specific parts tranparent (in the Materials box), or even invisible (Object/Properties box). I just checked the DAZ product page, and it says "Material transparency options', so all you need to do is make the upper and lower sleeves transparent for a tank top, and the lower legs transparent for the shorts.

You conform clothes to V3 AFTER you have her morphs where you want them, so the morphs in the clothes can automatically 'copy' the body morph settings. You can try applying your morphs to the fresh V3 and then re-conforming the already-loaded clothes. I've not ever tried that because I always load clothes after I have V3's morphs where I want them. You need Injection Pose Builder to do what I suggested in the other thread. If you have IPB from DAZ, in Poser, open your T2 file, take out everything but V3, apply the REM pose for All Body Morphs and the REM pose for All Head Morphs, then save the CR2 to your figures library. Then open up IPB and find your figure, make an INJ pose, and save it to a Poser pose folder. Now open a fresh file in Poser, load a fresh V3 and apply the INJ pose you just made. Now load up any V3 conforming clothing and conform to your freshly morphed V3 character. One note even if you don't have Injection Pose Builder: Be sure you have the latest service release version of V3.Thread: Harley, Leather, and Dungerees, fo V2, V3, and Michael2...? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
DAZ has a cool Harley in their Special Interest section, and there are few motorcycles right here at Renderosity, chopper and Harley-style. Also a plethora of biker leather here. Some by _dodger and Billy-T, among others. Do a search for 'bike' or 'leather' in the Renderosity MarketPlace.

Yes, there are Partial Poses available, and you can also make them yourself. Snow Sultan has some free ones (link above) and PoserStyle also has some in their membership items. I'm sure there are many others. To make your own, when you get your body part the way you want it, click the + signat the bottom of the pose directory menu to save it to your pose directory, but in the window that pops up, choose Select Subset. Uncheck Universe, then select each body part you want to save in the pose. Click OK and give it a name.

Look at the dials. She has morphs that only V3 has. Pinup, Barbarian 1, Barbarian 2. Those are V3 ONLY morphs. Since the dials are there (and they're the HIP dials), my guess is that she's got quite a few full body morphs. T2 is the file name, not the figure name. RealingDaves, I don't have the bikini, but I've had similar problems with other clothes. I've solved it by creating an injection pose of my character, then creating a NEW file, with a fresh V3, applying the INJ pose, and then loading the clothes. That's worked for me. I don't know why the clothes wig out or why the fresh start fixes it. Good luck!

Transmaps are just greyscale or black and white JPG images based on a template (UV Map). Black is transparent, shades of gray are translucent, and white is opaque. Just like the transmaps used for eyelashes and eyebrows and hair. You can make your own, find them in freestuff, or buy them with texture packages, and sometimes with clothing items that come with texture varieties. Transmaps do not come with the Millennium catsuits from DAZ, and not with the P4 clothes. Quicksuits are different from catsuits/bodysuits. Usually (in my experience anyway) that term refers to a copyright-free mesh that a modeler can use to make new clothing items, without having to start from scratch.

Super! Thanks for the update! I like the toon look, but Koshini is just too cutesy. I don't generally do cutesy.

I'm not a V3 fan either. I don't like the injection system. On V2, I know where the morphs are and what they do, I can whip out a complete custom character in fifteen minutes. With V3, it takes that long to find the exact lip morph I need. But...I keep practicing with V3, hoping that experience will endear her to me. It's been what, 10 months since she was released? I'm no more enthusiastic about her now than I was six months ago.
