For those of you too young - this is from LOST IN SPACE - the nefarious Dr. Smith and young Will Robinson. Working on animation for a few months now. Hopefully should be be finished soon.

Thread: WW Adjustment morphs stopped working after changing OBJ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I did try converting from and to the same figure - but what happened was the conversion finished. but nothing showed up in the WW folder where the conversion is usually dropped. I will try that again.
Thanks!

Thread: Hair is not rendering | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I am working on some characters from LOST IN SPACE- from the 1960s. I finally got the problem solved by exporting a good hair set out and then redressing the character in a new scene and then applying that back to the library.
The Hair room is difficult to master. I've worked for hours creating these "do's".

Poser Pro 2012. I am saving to the library. I can save the hair separately and add it back to the character - no problem. And I have characters in the library backed up from last night. I can reload them and they render fine. When I try to take the hair off of them and add them to the scene where I am working on the character - they work fine until I add them back to the library. Once I do, I create a new poser file and add them to the scene from the library just as always. Hair will not render.
But on the library characters I copied back in from the backup - I do not have this problem. It's as though something in the Scene is corrupting them as they are added to the library. Weird.

Well after the WW ran....it worked - the inflate and other dials appear to be back on. So, now I know. Thanks for the input.

Okay. Using RAR I extracted the blmturneck.OBZ to an OBJ. Then I subdivided the verts creating a higher res in Blender. Exported it out. Put it back into the original folder next to the OBZ.
I am running a WW convert on it now - it says it's now a hi-res conversion - will take a while to run. Hope this works and the Adjustment morphs are back on.

After the conversion - this is what I am seeing -nothing is lined up.
These are pics of the front to back. I get similar results on the BEND or up/down views as well. I have fixed all and tested using the dials. However, when I move and correct - it all seems ok until I import a BVH or try to move the arm up and down after correcting.

Philc thanks for all of your help. I have no idea which figure the flight suit was made for. But even if I did not know - seems like I could through trail and error select each of the JAMES "Froms" in WW. So far they all produce the same result - misalignment at the arms. :/
So, what is strange is how well it aligns with the JAMES that comes with PP2012 which is not G2.
I can use the suit I converted with Poser 7 and WW originally, I was hoping that I might get a better conversion with the new versions.
Thanks for all of our help and persistence on this. ph

I sent it to you in a email when I posted the pics - I got it from Poserworld a few years back. Do you have the email?

Okay after getting my window back in confirmed that I had a new analysis file for PW James flight suit.
I chose the JamesG2 Basic FROM character and I am getting the same result.
Is there any way to perform a reanalysis of the JAMES that comes with Poser Pro 2012? The flight suit fits that character perfectly. I dont have any other version of James and am wondering if the data files provided in PP2012 are for a different version??
I know that in the old WW you would load the character you wanted to convert from and a new file would be created from that character.
Any way to get this version to recreate a new file from the James that I have?

I don't have a second display and none of these suggestions is workinng for me. I appreciate the quick response.
So I went back to the folder that contains the poser.ini file. And I deleted all cache AND all files and that fixed it!!
thanks for you help. Now back to the flightsuit issue.

In picture 1, the suit is ZERO'd like the figure and unconformed. So, it would appear that suit would in fact line up - or is supposed to.
Shoud I use the James Hires as the FROM side?
