KateTheShrew has solved my problem, I downloaded Rambooster & installed it, Vicky 2.0 now takes 7-9 seconds to load on my system. I still have to shut all tasks except systray, & explorer though. Still that's a small price to pay for being able to play with a great model. Now all I have to do is get to grips with Poser .

I've got a few friends with piercings, mostly in the ears, navel. One brave soul had her genitals pierced (no I've not seen that one). From what they've told me they have piercings because they want to have them, not because they want to freak anybody out, or for masochistic reasons. Personally it does'nt matter to me what/where you have pierced, although it can be a little intimidating when you first meet a person, ultimately it's what's inside that counts. The outside is just packaging. I'm sure we've all received bad gifts in expensive packaging & vice versa

I'm just starting out with Poser, so I look at sites like your's for inspiration/tips, the artwork is great. However I have to agree with saxon above, I'm on a 512kb cable connection, and your gallery pictures took 10-20 seconds to load. It could be the time of day, or your server could be a busy one. but I think you do need to compress the pictures somehow. Also the Gallery button doesn't work correctly unless you click on the small area you have set up for the link, could you make it the same size as the word? I don't have a website so apologies if this is a silly suggestion. The site content is great, you just need to tweak the actual HTML a little.

I guess that you got me guys, yes Nosfiratu this is the tech support thread you think it is, and the hard drive is still accessing after the "hang", and smerc I wasn't waiting long enough, it's taking 50 seconds to load Vicky 2.0. I checked my memory usage & I'm using 549.3MB to load a Vicky 2.0. Guess it's time for au upgrade. By the way Nosfiratu, re-reading the title of my post it occurs to me that I seem to be critisizing your company, that was'nt the intention, I apologise for any offence I may have caused

Thankyou for that ronmolina, I tried your suggestion after installing the Pro Pack & deleted all the rsr files from both the geometry folder & the character folder, but the Pro Pack still locked up. I also bought the French Maid outfit, bizzarly this will load & pose in the Pro Pack.
