Yarivt -- that is the Indirect light making the "source light" out of the ambient or alt_diffuse, and is NOT a feature of Poser 6. You need to upgrade to P8 for that feature.

Poserworld has some for M3, which you could convert using Wardrobe Wizard or Crossdresser. There's also a "Hip Hop" outfit for M3 over at DAZ, that can also be converted. But nothing for M4 that I've noticed.

The Inject files are located in the Pose folder.
Basically, you can select the file in the Pose Folder of the Library, double click on it, or use the arrow at the bottom of the pallette. Just like using a pose.
After it loads, head back to the Parameter dials and there should be + signs to open the tree to select the morphs.

Thread: How do I use Michael 4 Morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
:)Â Welcome to the Gen 4 figures.
First up, after you have unzipped and installed any new morph packs for V4/M4 into your Runtimes, you need to run the .bat files to initialise them. M4 came with desktop items, one for the body/head, the other for the genitals to run the script as well; these are called Update Michael 4.... If you don't see the desktop icons, then you need to head into the Runtimes and run the .bat file in the M4 morph folder.
After you initialize, then open Poser, load up M4 and inject the morphs in the Pose Folder. Basically, just click on the icons for Morphs ++ in the pose folder to load. Then they should show up in the parameter dials.
As for the genitals, once loaded, Conform it to M4 (drop down menu Figures>Conform To chose M4.

Here you go:
http://www.luckydragonsden.greatnow.com/Freebies/freebie.html
I had to look in my Runtimes for their online site store name, which is different than the Renderosity vendors name.

As with all of darkangle's sets, it's huge, if you load up all of the componants. A little heavy. The textures need a little tweaking, bumping.
They have several freebies available at their homepage (unless they did away with that when they brought everything over to Rendo; sorry I lost all of my links when I changed ISP's), that give you an idea of what their products are like.
Lots of stuff included, and a decent price point. I bought it a few years ago from their site, btw.

Thread: OT -- SON OF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Basically, DC Comics became DC Entertainment. Publisher Paul Levitz retired when WB brought Diane Nelson in as executive of the new entity, answering to the president of TW. Time/Warner is just, finally, fully integrating DC Comics into the company, allowing easier access to their stable of characters for film, tv, books, video games, animation and electronic content. Time Warner is embracing DC, instead of being embarassed by them. And Diane Nelson will act as the bridge between the Comics side and the other entertainment sections of the company, so that, perhaps, they might actually make another Superman film, or Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, etc, without many hassles and clearances.
Time will tell if this affects the comics side of things, but it should make it easier for cross-platform access to a wider range of film/tv, etc.

But I had "check for updates" turned off, and it still popped up in my P7 SP3.
A bit invasive.

Thread: DS Advanced vs Poser 8? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - if anything D|S and Poser are holding each other back by being so similar.
very few products take full advantage of their program's capabilities because content creators are trying to keep both customer bases buying a product that looks the same in both products.
DS3A and Poser 8 are actually starting to show some diversions. They both have different tools/options that differentiate from each other: Poser has the morph brush, but DS3A has a figure mixer; Ds3A can adapt skins between figures, but Poser still has the Python scripting that offers lots of possibilities. And other things. DS3A has caught up with Poser and is great competition. SM has shown a great deal more "hands on/quick fixes/listen to its user-base" than any other Poser developer ever has, so the future looks bright for both programs.
Daz isn't the only store out there. RDNA seems quite happy with selling items that are Poser-ONLY based, like Render Studio/Light Studio, Shaderworks python scripting and Poser-only shaders. D3D here at Renderosity and CP screates some awesome Poser-only add-ons as well. Sure, there will always be some Daz vendors that make DAZ only items, but many more will be compatible with both.
Except for the world economy, it's actually an exciting time for Poser and DS3A.
Now, if only Smith Micro would fix the scaling/conforming clothing bug in Poser... :)Â But then, I would have to have Poser 8, and because of the economics of things, I have to pass until later this year for my upgrade.
But, dang, I wish I had either one. Both have features I wish I had in my P7.

Thread: Release the FREAK 4 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Why didn't SM finally fix this known bug (scaling/confroming)Â that's been with Poser for so many iterations? Especially since it was the first real attempt to rewritting/updating the code? I've read so many reports from vendors in regards to the scaling issue.
I use scaled figures all of the time, and with some outfits/characters I have no real issues, but most clothing and or pose has to be tweaked to fix problem areas, and some combinations are just horrendous.
But it is Smith Micro's problem to deal with, since they now own Poser. Perhaps this issue will finally be resolved. Smith Micro has down a fantastic job so far with actually upgrading Poser with Poser 8, implementing new features and a fresh GUI, and seems intent to actually listening to suggestions from the software users.
Keep fingers crossed.

Thread: P8 : Perfectly clean install. No errors. Program opens and closes so fast! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Damn, but I wish I had a job right now and could afford the upgrade. Not to serious of bugs out of the gate, and faster -- I love faster :)
Must stop reading forums and go render something in P7 (which has been good). Oh well, maybe I'll be able to get it for Christmas.
