It was great visually, up there with Sin City and Sky Captain for unique visual feel. Not a single second was shot in natural light, it was all vfx. The leather speedos, scarlet red capes, and the gym-body aesthetic added to the comic book feeling. Xerxes looks like a cross between freak drag, body piercing spokesmodel, and a Las Vegas showgirl.
Thread: Artwork stolen on the Russian website | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was at a Medical Congress in Prague three years ago manning the internet stations my company had set up in our exhibit area. We had big jars of freebie pens with our company logo on them sitting all around the exhibit area. We'd watch as the Russian doctors invariably would open their briefcases and empty entire jars of these cheap freebie pens into them. One time just for the hell of it I grabbed a jar of pens and went over to one of them who was busily filling his briefcase and held out the jar to him and said in english, "here you missed this one" and he grabbed the jar out of my hand and emptied it into his briefcase. It was comical but I felt sorry for them that free pens meant that much to them!

Quote - Anybody know how to make time go faster?
If you can manage to go under general anesthesia for the next twenty four hours you will not notice the passage of time at all.
Or, if we can manage to get Anton and his project into an interstellar vehicle and accelerate them to the speed of light - time will slow down for them and pass more quickly for us. They would return after twenty four hours with the finished project but it would only seem to us who remained on earth as if six hours had passed.

But wait, I just bought that item the other day, charged $1,320 to my Visa card! Are you guys saying the price was incorrect?
Thread: Michael 3's Physique | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've gotten nice results from using the M3 Revisited Cr2 (Raven mentioned above) and loading him up with all the David 3 morphs, then morphing in the body into a more substantial looking male.
I have to agree with Wolf also though, sometimes Mike 2 is the man.

There should be Elf Warnings, Fairy Warnings, Middle Earth Warnings, Orc Warnings, Dragon Warnings, Insipid Amazon Women Advisories, etc. etc. I mean, fair is fair after all!

Does this figure come fully clothed? Cannot begin to contemplate the idea of looking at even a digital representation of W without clothing.
Also I plan to purchase the figure and dress him in drag. I'll be transferring the morphs from this figure onto the latest Batlab Goth Dominatrix outfit.
I also heard a rumour that anyone knowingly using this figure in any disrespectful way would have to answer to the Fox News security forces which will be unleashed by Bill O'Reilly, is it true?

Ok yes I see what you are saying, I've been in the same situation myself.
Well then never mind about my rant, LOL!
Thread: Nudie no-no's - The New Nudity Thumbnail Policy | Forum: Carrara
A large number of the items on sale in the store are character products which include full body skin textures. The purpose of the nudity was to show us the details - there are legitimate artistic situations in which nude figures could be used. I never felt the nudity was in my face. If it was porn-ish looking I just didn't look. But now that decision is being made for us. Its called censorship.
Maybe Renderosity could advise the Vatican about the new no nudity policy. I'd love to see all the Michelangelo figures in the Sistine Chapel with little red Bikini tops and bottoms on them!
On the other side I do have to commend Rendo for includin violence in the new policy. If they're going to practice censorship then violence is more worth censoring than pictures of humans san clothing.

I agree with Cheers.
These two companies need each other and neither would survive without the other and I personally cant survive without either of them. In spite of certain quirks on both sides these two recent product releases have heartened me enormously. Both companies are progressing well with their core products. V4 has some oddities but I'm amazed at the quality and detail of the new mesh and the excellent rigging. Poser has taken some major steps forward with their P7 release. Their figures aren't at the level of a V4 but the faces are truly unique and interesting, Simon and Sydney are their best yet in my humble opinion. And then there's those damnned beautiful Holsteins over at E-F! These two companies just need to have a summit on neutral ground have a sixties-style love-in. And we the people will vote with our dollars.
See you later I'm off to Content Paradise to purchase Holsteins.

Thread: V4 - Important morphs missing? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Was there, or was there not a full list of the morphs published before you bought? And even if there wasn't, surely you could have insisted on one before forking overyour money. As it's turned out, you've all bought a pig in a poke, without throughly seeing and examining it before hand, without weighing and evaluting its innate value, BEFORE you handed over your hardearned money.
But, of course, you've got thirty days to request a refund. Maybe. And what kind of a song and dance will THAT entail. In ther meantime, your money is in DAZ pocket, and their inferior product is on your hard drive. And all because you insist on running lemming-like after the newest and shiniest item to come down the turnpike. Shame for worshiping the Golden Calf.
Now you're all lwft with half-promises and understandings. Good luck on getting your customer satisfaction.

Oh DP your analysis is so true. Actually I think I'll just go throw myself off a cliff and resolve this hell I've self-created.
