Select your character. Select the Figures part of your poser library. Click on the + sign and the bottom of the figures library. Give it a name. Have fun. NeilP

The prblem here lies with the fact that your document window does not always agree to the render setting for the image size. Make both the same and it should be oK.
Thread: Poser 4 folders in Poser 5 - How? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
the way to achieve this is to attach your old Poser 4 Runtime folder ans a seperate runtime in Poser 5. In Poser 5 select "figures" and keep doulble clicking until you reach the top of the tree and you see a blue Poser 5 folder with a red dot next to it. At the bottom you will see a plus sign. Click on the plus sign and navigate to you poser 4 runtime folder. That's it. Welcome to Poser 5. Enjoy.
Thread: Custom hair texture... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It took me a while to figure this one out. Yes you can texture P5 hair but as randymm77 says, not with a JPG. Load the princess hair and go to the material room and checkout how the hair has being textured using the diffuse node. You will notice there are two colours on the node for each hair group. Experiment changing these colours and when your happy save the file as a hair prop (.HR2). Open the HR2 file in wordpad and remove all the geometry sections leaving just the material sections and then save this file as a MAT pose file. eg."MyTexture.pz2" Quite long winded, I know but it worked on the Supermodel hair which is in my store. Good luck and drop me a line if you get stuck.

Thread: Poser 4 VS Poser 5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been using Poser 5 for a while now and the differences are immense. I find going back to Poser 4 Pro Pack, which I sometimes have to do when testing a new package, really clumsy and awkward. When you mention the Cloth and Hair rooms you are only scratching the surface. Firefly rendering, Ray Trace shadows, reflections and refractions, displacement nodes, multiple runtime folders.... I could go on and on. In short, my vote is for Poser 5.

Thread: Runtime Error | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK.. OK. LAS_61 is quite correct. It is a windows error so if I'm to help you I will need to know a few things about your system. What operating system? What Service Pack Version? At what point in the poser process does it crash? Let's start there.

To save a pose, just go to your pose directory and click the + sign at the bottom, Name you pose and that's it. As for using Injection pose bulder and MAT Pose edit see the tutorials sections here at Renersoity and DAZ3D, I think you'll find tuts there.
Thread: I Have two areas I need help with using poser please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think you will have to go a little more in-depth for anyone to help you. Please, when posting, always state your poser version and explain the problem you are having with as much detail as you can. Give me more info and I'll try to help.

bnetta I still haven't decided whether it's a one piece or two. I quite like the idea of interchangeable tops which I could release at later dates so it will probably be a two piece. Ardiva Yes, I will definately be posting it to Rosity's free area.
