I have that motorcycle already. I used it in one of my renders and I thought it was going to be enough for me. I'll probably break down eventually and spend some big bucks on a .obj with joints model. **

Your computer is much better than my computer. The one thing that I've notice with rendering is that some light settings make my poser 6 and 7 work much harder. The other thing you might want to check on is to see how many programs are running in the background.
As far as buying ram or a new computer. I guess it depends on how far you can upgrade the current computer. Compare this to a new computer that has what you need. Depending on which outcome is better you may be better off waiting to buy a new computer. I would first check to see if other programs are soaking up your RAM.

Wow. I haven't even touch the magnet feature yet. I read tutorials on them but haven't used them.

Daz3D has motorcycles but they are either have a futuristic style, world war II style, dirt bike style, or chopper. I'm looking for something like this for poser.

OMG!!!! If those are 2 simple questions then I want to learn how to use poser from you. lol. Good luck on the model creation. There are many modeling software out there and speaking from experience, you'll spend a good deal of time learning.
What ever you do, don't buy Shade 8. It's seems to be a program that is for those who already know how to make 3d models.
