Thread: I need help with a mirror in P5 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
To answer at the very first question, i found somewhere in these forum that you could use the "alternate diffuse" to make a reflection. Just plug a "reflect node" to "alternate diffuse" and set the bacckground color... (worked on SR3, not yet tested in SR4) Hope it helps... PS. (Ajax) The "Pepper's Ghost" is great ! Thanks.

Thread: Conforming to dynamic cloth ? | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
So... after some tries, i just really understand how it works... The first time i made the import, i unchecked everything in the dialog box for importing the .obj Then the cloth just destroyed itself in many parts. I thought you had to "edit" the cloth with the "Group Tool". That's why i asked if it where possible to do this step automatically with a Python Script. But, now, the question is useless. But now, another question. When you do this import, Poser will take a long long long ... long time to create the dynamics. But with an original dynamic cloth, the calculation take less time... Why is this appening ? Another Python questions (for dynamis clothes) Is it possible, within Poser, to have a Python Script give the obj name of a figure ? Is it possible to load a cloth figure, conform it then, with a Python Script, transforming this cloth into a props, ready to "clothify" ? I know i can do it as PhilC said, but it's not always easy to find where the obj files are (i know i can use P3DOExplorer, but it could be great to do everything into Poser directly). Thanks for your help and for my completly newbie questions about Python Scripting.
Thread: P5 Library custom UI question. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
it depends on what you want to change... For example, for the background color, you must find: eGradientBackground Search the attribue "color" and change the value: 00000000 is black; 13879224 is the default color; 138 is blue; In fact, i don't really know how the colors works. It doesn't seem to be hexadecimal value... Hope it helps... You may find the other feature by serching for " font=" , ...

Thread: why is V3 so cross-eyed?! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
What i do is simply this... i "point at... " the eyes to the main camera (which has a great focal (about 80 or more)) By this way, she will look directly in the camera (or your eyes ;-) ). If you don't want her to look at you, you may "point at..." the eyes to a ball. Simply move the ball and the eyes will follow it. If the ball is far enough, she shouldn't have this horrible cross-eyed. Hope it helps.
Thread: Problem with reflections | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
the dress is form svdl... great great stuff. He also made some other dynamic stuff... For your reflection, to sse if it's working.... Put your "moon" in the water... Half side under the water, the other side over the water... Render to see if your settings are coorect. If it doesn't render, just a little question... Did you check the "Use Raytrace" in the render options ?
Thread: Is there a png to rsr thumbnail converter out there | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Attached Link: http://www.senosoft.com/
The P3DO Explorer (free stuff here at renderosity or on links above) has a plugin to convert rsr to png (or png to rsr). You can do your thumbnail yourself, save it as .png, then convert them with P3DExplorer. Don't forget to respect the size of the thumbnail !Thread: P5 Reflection map hell...
