It grandly depends of your render settings. With User Settings you can lower the render time.
Using some material specifications (such as blurry reflections, sss, ...) could also increase the render time. And use GR only if necessary, try GI. Sometimes there is no visible changes, except for the render time ;)

Have you try User settings? Try AA min 10, max 30, and AA quality 100%.
Does it do the same with other hair?
It seams to have to do with transparency. Take a look at your trans setting too.

Could you post a screenshot so we could see?
And have you try to increase your AA settings? Sometimes it helps.

I don't know if it's possible into Vue, but you could also use a modelling ap to merge them (after exporting the terrain object).
Thread: Readme files? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I always save ReadMe files, because all the structure of the downloaded product is written here (RuntimeLibraryPose...). Especially for the Texture files, cause sometimes i try to manually browse until i find the texture files, and am simply not able to remember under what name they are saved...!!
So the ReadMe (that i always save in the same folder than the product, character or pose folder) is a sort of "reminder" of the structure.

Thread: Strange green artifacts on render with transmap hair HELP! | Forum: Vue
@stormchaser:
As you can see, my AA settings are already up (perhaps a little too much for my needs, but i saw a difference for the quality of the hair).
Thanks to all for your help. I've been long to answer, but i was on other projects at the same time.
