Yeah, I completely agree with genefleeman. It gets real confusing and cluttered fast. On another site I visit I did not notice the edit button for a long time, it made my posts very messy. I recently went back to several (about 8) forums I visit and checked to see if anyone else has a time limit on editing.... Nope. Not one of them. Not that my opinion really matters, but the admin here should really consider eliminating the time limit... especially considering that in some cases someone might post something that they wish they did not and then reconsider it later than 15 minutes, which could lead to hard feelings and misunderstandings if not embarrassment.  Then again that might just liven things up here by creating interesting quarrels.

A 15 minute edit window? I don't think I've ever seen that anywhere before... I better never post when I'm drunk. I'm not complaining, but I find that both funny(comical) and odd... I'm sure there is a reason for it though. It definitely drives home the need to carefully read one's post before making it. Spellchecking alone will never catch the difference between not having enough sheep last night or not sleeping enough. Wait too long and nobody will know if you are tired or just have a thing for wool.

A long time ago I had a dog. He was very smart for a dog. Being a dog , he had no thumbs. He also died about 10 years ago... Still, even now he'd have a better chance of of adding the image to the HTML code than I do. 

I liked the previous method of doing this...

Sorry for there being no image in that above post but there is something seriously frelled here... I can not edit my post(the choice has disappeared) and no matter what I can get an image to attach... it also looks stuff here is different....

 Keep in mind that in CGI there are basically two types of programs that people use:
Modeling programs where you can MAKE your own stuff from scratch
and programs like DAZ Studio and Poser where you basically take pre made models of figures and props and pose them in scenes which you then render( make a picture of).
If you wish to make you own models you'll need something like Blender,Hexagon,Wings3D,Modo etc.. (there are lots of modeling apps). In DAZ Studio and Poser you can customize the figures using morphs, but you really can not make one from scratch. You can make truly awesome art using DS and Poser though. don't worry about modeling yet... learn to make renders first.

actually I have a link banner thingie at DAZ, but I have no Idea how I did that, being that it was longer than 24 hours ago and that is about how long I remember stuff these days... Like just now I got a call from my dentist's office asking "where the hell are you?"....  

I figured out the icon thing by myself though.... okay, so a cat could figure it out too, but still....

Thank you lesbently, "the incomprehensible ravings of a drunken imbecile" this was not!  I've found some of my best thinking and writing has come about in the company of my old friend Rum... Of course probably only I think so...  Anyway, I wanted you to know that with your assistance I was able to get this to work! The sample .pp2 was a great idea and using it, I was immediately able to see what my mistake was... I had been copying and pasting the very last bracket from the bottom of the .lt2 into the .pp2.  I tried several variations of what I thought the tutorial was suggesting and I thought that was one of them(the not pasting the last bracket scenario)... I probably should of had some rum first,things would have probably seemed clearer then. Although I try to save my alcohol these days for when I use Blender... eases the mental trauma a bit... that and I actually think I've learned something each time. I haven't, but I laugh a lot. I think thats the important part. Anyway- THANK YOU!! -Vic. PS... I figured I'd show you what it was that  I lit up... It needs a lot more tweaking, but it is supposed to be a beacon light of some sort... sort of like a light house. It is located at the top of the complex in the insert. The whole thing is pretty big.
