So am I! And I'm still not over it! Had to go back to the computer's original default and needless to say I lost a lot of stuff - including Bryce! So I definitely have backups now!

Have you ever thought of putting thumbnails of your art instead of the full-sized image? That might help as far as finding a manageable web host.Thread: stupid question about Blender =D | Forum: Blender
Quote - It means that you haven't installed any extra Python modules.
Nothing to worry about.I think the OBJ exporter just needs one extra line (or just a small edit) to make it write out group lines.
Try this, look for the line file.write('o %s_%sn' % (fixName(ob.name), fixName(m.name))) # Write Object name
and change it to file.write(' %s_%sn' % (fixName(ob.name), fixName(m.name))) # Write Object name
I just don't seem to be getting this. I also have that problem with that DOS black box showing up. There is a python24 folder in my blender directory but I still get the same message

I was hoping that this topic would be here! I downloaded the Bryce5 a couple weeks ago and I am having so much fun with the program that I'm almost forgetting about the time! I made my first 'fun" picture" just to have something completed. It's a BIG step up from my older Bryce version. I especially like the tree editor! I was also having fun playing around with the materials editor but it had so many options that I wound up getting a headache-LOL!Thread: show off your 3d modelling skills!! | Forum: Community Center

About the only real 3d modeling that I have done (that I have put online for others to see) was a vase in different textures at: http://members.aol.com/Roseb44170/designs.htm What I really want to do is to start modeling characters - both human and non-human. I have Rhino which is a good modeling program and for simple models I have Spatch. I just haven't gotten around to perfecting things yet. I have some good tutorials but I know that this is going to be a long process - especially for what I want to do. My current frustation thing is designing hair! It's driving me crazy!Thread: Why no comments? | Forum: Community Center

Well I had a chance to look at your gallery and thought that your stuff was great! As a newbie myself your stuff in inspiring to those of us who have yet to get it right. I think its just a question of people knowing that you are out there. Your work doesn't stink and it isn't terrible.Thread: OK, I can't find it! | Forum: Community Center

I agree that you are in the wonderful position of exploring the program. When I first got it I played with it for hours and I have an older version! I think the most fun is creating my own textures and adding to them. I once suggested to someone that they could recreate their local environment and sell the pictures as Christmas cards and the like.Thread: December Landscape Challenge | Forum: Community Center

Well I have been experimenting with making clothing for my Poser models although I'm sure that there is a much simpler way than the way I do it. The program that I have to make the clothing is called Rhino. It has so many options/buttons to play around with.I created the dress on the woman figure on my graphics page.

I have Ultra! It's great isn't it and I have barely touched the surface of the program! Like the other person that posted I could play with this thing for hours! It has sooooo many options and so many ways to change the fractals. Then add to that the option of changing the colors - whoa! I used to belong to the mailing list but I just kept getting too much email! You can visit my fractal page though because I added some links - like where all the formulas/parameters are archived. I still have some that I haven't even had a chance to play with yet! http://members.aol.com/Roseb441702/fractal.htm I repeat - it's a great program!Thread: Sales | Forum: Fractals

You know I have actually posted this question on Ebay. I too was thinking of offering some of my art/graphics and just wanted to avoid the whole headache of sending it by snailmail. I was thinking of offering it as screensavers/wallpaper and such. The general consensus of answers I got were that most of them were against it but some of them did suggest that I could send it on disk as another option.

I use Ultra. It's a great program and has a lot options. There's even a mailing list for it but I had to unsubscribe because of the oh so many emails.Thread: Contest with Prizes - Ringing in the New Year (Prose and Poetry!) | Forum: Writers
