Cool! I found the Rick, but it's non-commercial use only... I want to use it in some pin-ups for a commercial site though, so maybe I can contact rodehn and work something out... Thanks for the heads-up!

If the "art" here doesn't move you, maybe you should stop complaining about it and go look elsewhere, troll.Thread: Art site? You must be joking | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

I did a book in print in 2000 called Shanghai using Poser and Bryce. Sold about 4500 copies, but it's really hard to make a go of it in print without a big company behind you. I'm doing stuff on the web now, which is working out better...Thread: Dot-your-spot on the world | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow, that is so cool! I'm in central Florida, and my little dot is surrounded by other Poser users... I never knew!

I think it's 10 and 4090. Maybe I'll try the 4095 and 4095 and see how that works. Sometimes the window is fine, but other figures it won't handle.

I did some experiments, and it seems to kick out at higher sizes. One image worked up to about 2300 pixels high, and at 2500 went white and didn't render. I'm going to try deleting certain objects and see if it's a specific model that's causing problems. I changed the virtual memory size and it does it less now, but a full page scene for me (3150 x 2025 pixels) still hits a wall sometimes. Thanks for the suggestions!

I'll try the backface options. None of the lights have ray-traced shadows, and they're not in a place where they would cast shadows. There are a lot of settings to play with, but the reflections have been giving me fits. Thanks, Bill.

Uh - I know what draft mode means, thanks. I think the problem stems from the ray-traced reflections on the surfaces. Every time I use ray-traced reflections on a big render, I get weird shapes that shouldn't be there. I know these aren't shadows from the lights, so I think it's a bug in the renderer.

Renderosity had posted a message on the front page that they were doing server upgrades last week, and there were some outage periods. I don't think Curious Labs had anything to do with that. Also, they produced 4.03, Pro Pack and the three service packs for PP.
