well ur ram could be the reason why its so quick not all of us are fortunate to have that much. i only have 256megs ram i see alot of users post and that highest i seen now is 512

i found out when rendering that beast keep all outside apps running to a minimal like mine wouldnt render when i was running mIRC with a sysreset script 4 webpages up winamp and Vue running. hehe i only have 256 megs of pc133 and a 1 gig duron so that also may be a issue. but keep as many resources free. i havent changed the size of my maps but so far so good now if i could only find a dang silver dragon texture or learn to make one myself :D
