I could take a look at it for you..I have 3DS but  i mostly use Hexagon 2.5 but am happy to help

I totally agree with HBorre in this case and with your texture size does matter and for graphic and logos a vector program such as Illustrator coral draw or maybe Inkscape which I have never used would be good also another excellent program to use that does a great job combining Vector and raster images is Xara 4 I have it and it is very user friendly,,Good luck

By the way I didnt mention that your model should have thier mouth and eyes closed just like the textures do for easy layout method so you can line up the holes lol.....and Have them pin thier hair back as well..Also shoot thier profile so you can put the facail image as a background that will help you model the face... Sorry about some of my mispelling here guys I missed that day in school.Maybe Render should add a spell check LOL or I should just learn how to spell..Oh well lol have a great day..

Well okay here is what I do!  I take and Image from the front and from the side and a close up of the eyes I have a Canon Rebel XTI and It Works great!! Be sure not to shoot it with a on camera flash. the washes out the skin tones.. the best posible scenereo is to use studio lighting.. if the is not available,  use outdoor lighting I found that a overcast day or partly cloudy day works best so again you dont get that overexposed texture... Okay sorry I tend to ramble on..
Okay then I take one of the existing textures and use it as a template from face for V4.  I like to use Marja or Erica they work great . I open it up in Photoshop. I Take my face Image from front and the sides and start to spread out the image over top of the other texture. this takes a bit to get the hang of it but once you have learned it,  there is no turning back..IT IS THE BEST WAY!!! trust me I have done it a few times..Also rember to make your bump maps.. This is to achieve the best and realistic results.. I am a photoshop Artist by trade and found to be the most accurate way  at least it has worked for me..

3. Do you know your way around Photoshop?
4. And do you have a Digital SLR Camera?
   We will go from there I will walk you threw the steps without using the Face room etc...in Poser that I dont feel you get good results..

Okay this is easy!!  Go to your Material room and in the render window click on your object see where the file is selected or stored? Right click on that folder and copy it and make a shortcut to it on your desktop. follow it that way. For some reason Poser does not show the runtime folders and in some cases the textures or object files so you have to go in another way.. thats how I do it when I am making textures for my charchters or editing an object file.. Hope this helps

Just turn off your gamma correction un check it in your advance render page I did and I am getting great results
