O.K... I had the hatchling dragon and a 'gold' texture. I thought that if I used a 'reflection map', that it would give a sort of gold reflection if I went into 'materials' and added where it says 'reflection colour'. All it did was put the 'tile' over the whole dragon. I was hoping for a simple way to reflect. I take things so literal at times.

I know this is probably a very basic question but....... I want to make a 'free texture' for a dress. I go to the material room (in Poser 6) and put the texture onto the dress. Then I go back into 'Pose' and click the + at the bottom of the libuary to add it to the libuary. This makes a .png and pz2 file. Now... when I then try to reapply the texture to see if it works, nothing happens. I have put the .jpg into the runtime>texture but still nothing happens. I guess there's something else I should be doing, so can someone tell me or tell me where I can find a good tutitoral on.... please.

Thank you Chris. I'm still trying to put all my bits together and have worked out how to make a zip file, so that's a start. As I have only .png and .pz2 files to worry about, it shouldn't be too hard now that I know where to look for help.

Oh.. dear.... and here I was going to try and upload my first freebie. I have know idea where to start and don't have a web page or anything like that. All I wanted to do was give my texture to the freebies area.

You know everytime I try something more, I learn something. I have just found a 'animation' in 'windows' along the top bar. Still not to sure what's making the blue,.. black, but I think it might have something to do with not cleaning up the background, e.g. a full frame of background and then just putting the angel on top and then painting the ball on top of all that. Will try a couple of things when I get home from work this afternoon.

But if I'm just saving the figure in Poser, then adding the background and balls in Photoshop, I wouldn't have to worry about all that for poser, would I?

Ahhhh... that would account for my 'pretty' pictures only getting a couple of responses. LOL Am going to try all what you have said. The wings do have shades so will 'blacken' them off, and I wasn't too happy with the ball, it seems 'jerky' but maybe doing the colours will fix that. I really didn't try alot of expermentation with it, I was just happy to have it all working. I used only the colours on the netscape palette, but I didn't use a 'hard' brush for the ball and I could see that once done, the 'fuzzy' bits showed up as a strong colour as well.

O.K. thanks for that. Will sign off now. Probably be back in about a week after I'v tried all what I have learnt so far. Going to try doing a 'toon' in poser once I'v worked out the settings. I'v seen them there but never used them. Thanks for all your help.
