Very true Keith we never know until we see for ourselves what others can do it certainly is amasing to me and really beautiful work is done in MM.. I'm beginning to see this change as a blessing for both Gallerys, we all need support and friendly comments so for me even though I normally do not post much yet in MM its a pleasure seeing others work just like it is to see the great fractals in the Fractal Gallery.. Also if they are not a complete 200 by 200 you take and use the one closest to the 200 example some of mind end up being 200x 149 depends on what you start with 1024x768 or smaller 800x600 you still use as close as you get to 200 x whatever it comes out to be. hope that helps also I know when I first started it like to drove me up the wall trying to get them as close as possible now I just don't worry about it. Simon::: I don't want to have to go through amending all the comments on each image to say so. You don't have to amend anything everything moves including all the comments least they did on mine. I can understand where you would concern however I really don't feel its as much of problem as is being reflected. Heck on mind sure there were ones that maybe shouldn't have been moved but its just easier to move and be sure then to have Mods come later and change them. You may want to go through yours and make a list of the ones you feel need to stay and refer that list to Nick or Barbara.. May want to give that idea some thought least you would have a handle on what is being moved and what wouldn't be. just my own 2 cents worth. Carolyn

I moved all of my posers when I first read the new rules I think the problem is, its gone on so long that some are having a problem with it. I for one already moved all mine early yesterday.... I frankly don't really see a problem for those that do use other programs just simply move them over to mixed medium or delete if that is what you want to do. I found a lot of nice people in mixed medium yes it does split our little happy group apart however we all should have known sooner or later this would happen. Don't mean any disrepect to anyone but it seems fairly simple unless its all fractal program move it or do what you want if the Mods feel its a mixed medium that is where it will go Carolyn

Sorry don't understand so the posers added to my fractals as an accent are not allowed? they are not the main focus only an accent. ???????? to the fractal. so do I move them or not? confused as usual Carolyn

I hardly feel that 1 poser image compares to other programs used and 50% of it is more then a fractal 1 poser is not even 1/4 of one image. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Carolyn

I feel it is going to really knock a whole in fractals when I use Poser its an accent not the main focus but to keep with the new rules all my posers on fractals have been moved to mixed medium so if anyone doesn't see my work or is even interested check mixed medium.. Thanks Carolyn

That would be great Nick I think it would also help in the extended amount of time it takes to vote and comment gosh that would be great whether a language situation or just plain don't really want to take the time gosh we are all human sometimes there just isn't enough time to do it all yet you still want that artist recognized for good work Carolyn

Bee, we bought XD about 4 months ago or longer what were finding even with the excellent help Panny and others have given us it is a time factor for us mainly to learn it. Like Rick said how bad do you want to learn it frankly if I had to do it over again I would not have had Ron buy it for us. It's very technical way above both of our heads and frankly doubt seriously if we will ever learn least not to the extent that Dirk and others know that program. Unless you can devote at least a full week or more with nothing else to do but just work with it you may be able to at least get a decent render of out it.. There are some people who can pick up any program and learn it then there are us kind that just do not have enough time in the day to spend 4 or 5 hours just going through the help section..Good Luck in whatever you decide Carolyn

I have a question? Okay we are all allowed 1 image correct? Now what if say example only I enter something say later today ..and another example say in 2 weeks I come up with one that just is exactly what I really wanted to post in the first place. Would it be possible to change that original image at that time still only leaving 1 image posted for the challenge.? I'm thinkng if people had the option to change an image within a certain amount of time frame there may be more posting earlier knowing if they really needed to still be able to change that image. Just a question but one well worth asking Carolyn
