Well Im blushing Mish. Thanks for the plug I like your beach shots too I guess if I had not used the cokin filter on mine I would be PhotoShopping it too. I have some more from that days shoot Im thinking of trying to make like a 1920 picture postcards from them. Thanks for the post nice to see some sunshine again, makes me all warm a bit like the girl I suspect. Sorry dont go there LOL. :0 )

Whats wrong with the Galleries as they are? I think you hit the nail on the head when you said PS is mainly a post tool and from what I see here thats how its used, there are very few pure PS images and the few there are fit very nicely into the 2D Gallery. Your wrong about your comment on Critic, in my experience you just dont get it in the Galleries. If you want critic then you should post links in the respective forums and there is a very good PS forum and ask for it there. As for images getting lost, having more Galleries is just going to scatter them more. I dont know about others but only having a couple of forums and galleries to keep up with is more than enough and to add even more would mean I would miss viewing even more images. I think the Galleries and forums are fine perhaps you need to change the way you use them. Try posting links asking for critic when you find an artist you like add a link to their gallery in your favourites. But please lets not water the art down even more. :0 )

Sorry Jordy but you cant not be serious here. The competition is for photojournalism Its not pictorial, I have viewed these images and they all capture the emotions of the moment. To say they would be pulled apart is wrong they all have great composition and are technically superb the gymnasts hand on the bar is a great bit of photography and would fit alongside a sports report and on any gallery wall. I guess you are winding us up, as I know you are not that blind, Full marks you hit the button with me. LOL :0 )

I knew it needed a fresh set of eyes. Youre of course right I do need to crop the gate I will try with and without the hinges. I have tried this with a blue colour cast trying to add to the coldness of the image might give that a run out at club and see. Thanks for the feed back nice to post here again been some time. :0)

Nice pictures pat, I think you have got the exposure spot on for the subject, a bit of under exposure I feel is better than over exposed highlights and the odd dark shadow adds a little depth to a picture. You should try the slow shutter shot you get some smart results, been looking for a waterfall to try it on for ages. :0)

Don I have enjoyed you set of pictures from this event Like the grain effect and colouring not to sure about the very dark body area and one leg. 11 rolls Im about to go to London taking pictures I hope 10 rolls will be enough LOL. what I would give for a digital SLR and edit as I go along. :0)
