Also, click on the E to edit the light. You can set the color, fuzziness and brightness there. Also, under A, make it "surface visible."
Thread: Newbee Question.... | Forum: Bryce
Primitves that are created in Bryce can not be exported from Bryce. However, if you use the primatives that are in the "imported objects" library in Bryce to make your shapes, you can export the final product. Group them together, click on the E and then type CTRL D It will pop up an export window. Sarah

Ionah has the right idea. One minor suggestion. Make some of your circles darker shades of gray to make some of the ripples sink below the surface of the water. Don't use all the same color for your circles.

Set your camera to 0,0,0 (so it is facing towards the top of your Bryce world from the top down view). Now click on the word sky to bring up the sky tools. Click on the icon of the sun to switch it to a moon. Now move the light gray dot to the top edge of the half sphere that makes the sun/moon move. Click on the rainbow to go to the sky lab. Follow Dreamshaders instructions. Also go to http://www.bryce4all.com/tutorials.htm and read the custom sky tutorial. It might help.
Thread: Can you get me sweaty?? Clarissa. | Forum: Bryce
Hey Clarissa, I have a Jennifer texture for Bryce that includes a sweaty look (a Bryce texture combined with an imported poser texture). Go to http://www.pussreboots.pair.com/poser/textures.html Click on Jennifer. Then all you have to do is replace my poser texture with your poser texture. Voila. Sarah
Thread: Newbee Question: Positioning in BRYCE! | Forum: Bryce
Also, in your preferences, you can set things to be created either centered which would be (0,0,0) or in camera view. Set it to in camera view so that the tree or whatever will at least be visible when you first create it. Then switch to the top down view (2) to reposition it.
Thread: Texture question - appreciate any help | Forum: Bryce
You need to make sure that your ambience is set so that the yellow dots are ambient and the rest of the material isn't. Go into the deep texture editor and click on the A (for alpha) next to the part of the material that sets the yellow dots. Then go back to the regular material editor and click the dot next to the Ambience so that your material is used for this channel as well.

Again, I think it could be memory. I used to have all sorts of instability troubles with Bryce until I gave up and just allocated a lot of memory (130 MB).
Thread: new to bryce... | Forum: Bryce
Click on A to set the attribute: possitve, negative. (They always start out neutral). Make one possitive, one negative. Have the negative thing interesect the positive thing. Now group them and render. There should be a hole in your posstive thing. When doing this with terrains, make sure the terrain or lattice is solid.

Could be a memory problem. Try allocating more memory to Bryce. If that doesn't work, run Disk FirstAid. Also, try conflict catcher if you have it (although I don't know of any Bryce conflicts with extensions). Sarah
