And what do you want for Christmas Santa asked the old lady? She responded...All I want for Christmas is an eBook reader as she batted her eyes at him.

Some of us have spent enough at this store over the years to purchase brand new cars. We have been long time customers, and we would like to continue to be customers. The inconsistency in getting coupons on time, skipping on giving us freebies, the increase for prime membership and running two retirement sales at the same time is making us think that there is something going on behind the scenes. Another thing having to purchase a product twice if you use both Daz and Poser is a killer. At the Daz Store you pay one price and get everything you need to use the product in both Poser and Daz. Some one needs to keep in mind that these multiple retirement sales create a great deal of stress in our lives having to make choices with such a short period of time is not good for us old folks. lol

TwiztidKidd when did they increase the reward points and what was the increase? I am getting the same number of reward points that I have always gotten. No matter how you put it, you can not justify the price increase. The more you try to justify it, the more you are insulting our intelligence, we are not stupid. Remember purchases here are not a necessity like food, housing, medicine, and real-life things we need to survive. Basically, they either make a change or suffer the consequences. The rewards that I am interested in are still the same, not interested in the other things listed. Comparing this store to what our government does is really no comparison. You just do not get it, the products here are not necessities. Most of the buyers here are probably just hobbyists. It will be sad to see this store go because people have to choose between what they need to survive and a hobby. In the real world, if something we like costs too much, we stop buying it. The same will happen here. You know what is really crazy about your comments, you are not even a prime member. The little blue key does not show next to your name.

Funny you should say that we don't have the right to tell them how to run their business. In the real world, we do exactly that by boycotting the stores. Whenever that happens one or two things happen, the business shuts down because it can not function if no one is buying or they make the necessary adjustments. I have been a customer a very long time. I can tell them how they can keep my business.

Thread: Retiring Products | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Now I am beginning to understand why these products are showing up at places other than the original stores. I guess that leaves others with the option of getting "so-called" pirated items. So much for being an honest buyer and purchasing directly from stores. Not saying I will go the other way, but now I understand why it is done. So once the product is retired does that give the purchaser the right to share the product with someone else? No one is losing any money because it can no longer be purchased. Maybe we should set up a swap site. Someone is looking for something that is no longer available, is it ok for someone that has it to share it with the person looking for it in exchange for a product that person is looking for?

At first, this looks like a no-win situation. Another option is put it in clearance with the notice that states "This item is no longer supported, but thank you for purchasing it." Or create a whole new category such as "Items no longer supported by the Vendor", but the price has to be reduced. How about $1 Bargain Bin deals?
Thread: Retiring Products | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Renapd, I do understand your point of view, and from a vendor's standpoint it does make sense, but from a user's standpoint it does not. Since vendors do not wish to support older stuff.... but why can't they just add something to the description that says this product is no longer supported and make it FREE. Although the 3D software keeps upgrading, not everyone has a computer that can support the new software. Some people are still using Windows 7 and 8, so they are using the older version of Daz Studio and/or Poser and it will work fine for them. I feel the younger generation is leaning more toward AI and eventually there will not be a need for them to purchase these 3D models. Not everyone uses Dynamic Clothing or dForce. I am still using 3D products I purchased from here back in 2010, so that is 13 years of stuff that I use from time to time. I consider myself a long-term customer and there are many others like me.

I agree with IAmNobodySpecial about the retiring products. Another thing, why can't these items be placed in the Clearance Section instead of being retired? Or better yet just be placed in the Freebie category.

Thread: No shortcut keys | Forum: Blender
I have to agree with both of you. I am learning Blender and finding that using the add-ons helps me a great deal. I love the pie menus, but I do wish there was a script or add-on that could print a list of all the shortcut keys just in case I wanted to use them. Does anyone here know of any Blender tutorials that are not videos, but are in pdf format or book format? I like to have a hard copy to read/highlight and make notes on.
