I'll give the beta update a go, but I'm feeling I've been done!! Ah well, I should have ordered online, but it worked out so much more expensive (spot the idiot here!!) v_v
Thread: Vue vs Vue Pro | Forum: Vue
I should have given you more, sorry. Here ya go.. PC , 2.43ghz p4 processor , 768mb ram , nvidia gforce3 128mb agp graphics card (although have switched opengl off and it still crashes) , windows XP pro. It crashes with or without mover. Error is just vue4pro.eon has performed an illegal operation and must shut down. Crashes randomly, sometimes when moving an object, sometimes in five minutes from loading and sometimes in 15 minutes. Let me know what else you need.. thank you for this. (I'm actually wondering if this is a dodgey copy from this dodgey shop!!>:( )
Thread: Problem with my video card. | Forum: Vue
I was going to post this morning as I am having a major problem too. My Vue4pro keeps crashing and I'm spending more time reopening it than using it!! I have no idea what is causing it but if anyone can help that would be great. P4 2.4g , XP pro, Gforce Nvidia 128mb thing (not too sure on the exact graphics card) Thank you in advance..

The renders definately look better, but do they render a lot faster than poser 5 firefly etc? If so I might look into this..

And Bryce 5 would let me open my *.pz3 files etc, and then just render them? Or would I have to load the models in and then create it all there? Do texture come across fine, and is it all simple to port? sorry about all the questions, but I wanna get the right thing. Thank you greatly for your help though

You can create the bed (or whatever) as a cloth prop and then lower the person on to the bed and animate the cloth. If the settings are right on the cloth then it will depress where the body touches. Then render the frame you wish to use. I kinda did this in a picture in my gallery where the cloth comes down over the person, but in this case you will ned the person coming down on the cloth. Tricky.. I might give this a go tonight ^_^

In poser 5 there is a collision detection option (you can see an example of this at curious labs with a ball rolling down some stairs). I have not messed around with this option at all but I believe it is possible to get this effect.

The M3 and V3 texture are close to fitting but are slightly off. M3 are closest, but the belly button, nipples and eyebrows are slightly off. Easy to modify if you get the templates from daz3d.com for freak and use photoshop.

Thread: stupid easy question but I can't remember how | Forum: Photoshop
That's what I ended up doing, but it seems a long way round doing a basic border where in paint shop pro (I hate that program) you can just drag a border. Thank you for all your help people, just thought it should be a little easier than it was.
Thread: stupid easy question but I can't remember how | Forum: Photoshop
That all works fine, but if I make a selection and then selection >modify >border, when I fill that it is feathered no matter how much I try to un-feather it. Is there a what to use that option and get it so that it does not feather??
