BluEcho, thanks, I have uploaded the files.
Still remember this picture?
Now, it is Antonia's turn!

odf, for scaling, I think you may want to take a look at how DAZ did it in Victoria 4. I think it may be easier than you think. In fact, during the process of making the Beach Volleyball Set for Antonia, I have found that sometimes when I too concentrate on making thing to work, I ended up making it too complicated for me to finish. I went through it already, crazy enough to make 3 JCMs for just one direction! Now, the final version contains just 8 JCMs, half of them are mirrors.
I also found that I can modify the mesh without throwing away the JCMs for the old mesh, at least, it works in Blender. I added and removed the vertices from the mesh created by the JCM as the same way I did it to the original mesh, the vertices order keep the same.

I added the link to the Antonia's Wiki as well.
BluEcho, could you help me to post it to your Antonia site http://www.bluecho4u3d.com/Antonia/start.htm?
Special thanks go to odf, Cage, and lesbentley for helping me out during the process of learning ERC and making JCM.
Please help me to test it in Poser. I tested it in DAZ Studio 3 only.

Quote - This is an image showing what I mean on the arm-bend.
Is that natural or a problem with the mesh? It's not all that bad but it just looked odd to me, but then I don't know if our arms actually look like that if we bend them the same way...lol.
I know there will be creases and folds of skin, that's only to be expected.
But thought I'd better just ask in case it is something that needs smoothing out. :)
I tried to reproduce the pose you showed. I have similar result but the problem can be reduced by adjusting the combination of lCollar and lShldr bones.

I have upload the latest WIP, it can be downloaded from http://sites.google.com/site/amyaimei/antonia/AntoniaBeachVolleyballBottom3.zip?attredirects=0&d=1
The zip contains Antonia Beach Volleyball bottom version 3. CR2 and OBJ only. New mesh.
I learned a lot this week. It seems that improving the mesh rather than making more JCMs solved the problems I encountered previously.
This one contains 4 JCMs only!

I tried Pyramid_3A.cr2.TXT with DAZ Studio 3.0.1.144. The result is the same as what sazzyazzca discovered. The dials are not working at all.
lesbentley, what is the purpose of these tests? Are you going to utilize the "valueOpTimes" in something new?
Thread: Antonia - Opinions? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It is not working in DAZ Studio 3.0.1.144, it loaded as a cube.
I tried to fix your cr2 by changing the valueOpTimes as follow:
valueOpTimes
Figure
BODY
CUBE-PYRAMID
It works in DAZ Studio 3.0.1.144, it loaded as pyramid and the CUBE-PYRAMID is set to 1.0. When I moved the dial to 0, it turned into cube.

Hi all,
I would like to speed up the process of making the Beach Volleyball set for Antonia. I'm going to release the WIP, maybe every week, at my Google site (http://sites.google.com/site/amyaimei/antonia). I think this will improve the feedback/comment and improvement cycle.
I just upload the cr2 and obj in a zip (AntoniaBeachVolleyballSet2.zip). I did not put the folder structure inside the zip. If you want to try it, just place it into the runtime.
The meshes are different from the old one.
The top is done, it comes with the texture template in svg format. I'm not going to modify it in the coming week. The top also has some extra bones to let user to make very simple pose of the ribbon at the back.
The bottom is still in progress. It proved that the proper base mesh construction is key to the success of the conforming clothing. This version matches the old one but with less number of JCMs and lower polygon count.
These are the simple rendered images from DAZ Studio 3.

Quote - amy_aimei - out of curiosity, why the unusual scaling number? that sounds very specific.
The unusual scaling number is for converting meter to Poser unit.

Hi LaurieA,
This is my notes regarding import/export and scale. Please note that I'm using the Polygon Group for grouping, i.e., the model is one single mesh.
Scale
The model is created using 1 unit = 1m in Blender.
Import OBJ from Poser to Blender
Export OBJ from Blender to Poser

As you can see in the picture, Antonia at the left, Victoria 4 at the right, both have conforming clothing, both clothing have no poke through. The difference is Antonia has my conforming clothing that remains in its shape; Victoria's panties deformed!
"My panties never behave like that" is the reason keeps me on trying to improve this simple piece of clothing for Antonia. I tried magnet/deformer, they work but hard for the user to use. I know dynamic clothing should work but I can't make it work for both Poser and DAZ Studio because I don't have the proper skill and software. JCM becomes my only choice because I don't know other ways, if someone know that there is another way, please let me know. The problem for JCM is the size of the file and the time spent in the process of making them. I have to admit that I'm not good at conforming clothing but I want to learn and try it out.
I think, the ideal case will be the conforming clothing maintain its shape, not just deformed as the figure deformed in order to avoid poke through, it may even shape the figure. In real life, I cannot do certain poses in certain type of clothing. I think it also applies to the 3D world.
I know if I keep on making more JCM to achieve the goal, this single piece of simple clothing will take me years to complete! Any other thoughts/ideas/suggestions?
I really want to get it done before Antonia 1.0 to give her something that better than Victoria 4's basicwear.

I'm a Blender user too. The clothing I made for Antonia are done in Blender. There are many good on-line tutorials for you to learn. Once you used to the shortcut key and the user interface, you will find it is not too hard. I admit it is not easy as Wings. If you want to use it to make Poser stuff, I would like to suggest that you scale a item, otherwise, your item is too small to use some of the Blender feature due to the precision. You may want to use 10 Blender Unit = 1 Poser Unit.
