First there was a difference in the drive designations and when I renamed one to match the other, this did correct what I was experienceing. Like you said was probably the easiest way.
Second, I am going to keep a copy of the XML, just in case I start having problems again. Have a pretty good idea where to go with that information.
Thank you for your time and concideration. It was much appreciated.

Thanks, I will check the drives out. If I remember correctly there was a difference in drive designations. If there is I'll try changing one to match the other and see if this corrects this issue.
There is probably not many people using an external drive. At least not between multiple computers.

Sorry for the late response, I just got back on the internet. Thank you nickedshield for the information you provided.
I have no problems adding the new runtimes, and Poser 5 is installed on the USB drive. What happens is when I connect to my home computer I have to go thru all the same steps to add them back in. Then when I go to my work computer I have to do the same steps once again. Then when I get back home, quess what. Yep, repeat the same steps again, and again, and so on. I was wondering if there was a work around for this.
The only Runtime folders that stay from computer to computer is the Poser 5 and Download runtimes. By the way, if I forget and open a file I am currently working on, before I re-add the folders. Poser can not find the files that came from those folders and I have to manually point to them. As you can see it is starting to get fustrating.
I checked Curious Labs website and all it says it that Poser 5 will work on an external drive. maybe I found a caveat/bug. Will work on an external hard drive but will not keep added runtimes.

I don't think it is a problem of modelers not liking dynamic cloth. I think it is more a case of lack of demand for these products. I too wish there was more avaliable. Just give it more time. I think that once more artist realise that it is not so hard, there will be more demand. Until then, keep requesting projects from those who do make dynamic products. Then post as much of your end results as possible. So others can see what can be done.
Other resources besides Sergemarck are PhilC, Nerd and hmann. There are probably others that I am not aware of.
I have had Poser 5 for months now and am just getting into the Dynamic cloth section myself. I have been playing around with the cloth square that came with poser. Making saddle blankets and throws with it. It has been fun and educational. I also have most of Sergemarck's dynamic dresses. Though I only have one completed picture so far. I do stills for now. Animations are out of my grasp. Though I am slowly building up to them.

I forgot to mention, you will need to set transparency level to full or all the way to the right on Poser 4 and to 1 on Poser 5. To make the object transparent. Others will have specific details on how to to this but I would check the tutorial section here at renderosty. they may have a tutorial on this. Sorry if I sounded ruff before. I have been up all night and I think I found out how many cups of coffee are too many.

Basicly, White = Visable, Black = invisable. Shades of grey = various levels of visablity. If you use Vue(another program) its reversed. Make a copy of the original texture and what you don't want to show up, paint it black. The areas you want to show paint them white. rename this file with something that you will recognise as a transparency. I add trans in the file name. Then load it as a seperate file under transparency.

I can't wait for the new set but I will if I have too.
By a Western Version, I ment a western style side saddle. If you made it I would use it but it sounds like you are pretty buisy as it is. So don't feel obligated.
Though I did find the saddle by Lyne a few months ago and found it usefull as well.
I was wondering when some one would get arround to making a breast collar of some kind. I don't ride without one and creating graphics of horses without any was beginning to concern me. I don't want Vicky or one of her friends to meet an unfortunate acident on those steep slopes.
Yours has been the best horse related equipment that I have ever found. Lots of kudos for all the work. Since I found you first offering, I have been hooked. If you started charging I would willing pay. Actually I couldn't stop myself.
