Thanks for the link tried it out as it exactly that error i get ...but the fix didn't do the trick ...and i didn't leave the .txt extension on :-)

Hi everybody ...thanx for the replies ...guess i'll have to find a 1.8 version then ...and wait for them to FIX this problem ...but i do think i'll have problems with V4 and Lux Lucia in Bryceanyways ...even though i have 4GB RAM ...sigh

At the risk of sounding stupid...but i COULD have something to do with the fact that rendering is heavy on the CPU therefor causing a great amount of heat - and IF the weather at your place is very hot ...it can turn the system unstable ...at least that happens on my computers ...when the outside temperature goes near 30 degress celcius ...my computer coolers  are having a hard time when the computer is busy ...and sometimes just reboot ...maybe you should investigate if the CPU OR the GPU is running too hot

Yeah - but now HDRI is supportet in the Sky Lab ...but mind you ....it slows down rendertime with a SIGNIFICANT factor :-)

Yeah - and with support for HDRI and Multikernel processors :-)
