Arrrrggghhhh! I'm with david and NightVoice on this one! Been tryin' to talk myself out of this investment 'cuz ALL I thought I would use is the PlantEditor and NOW you gotta let me in on this feature, too!! When IS that cut-off date again '-)?!? ==steve
Thread: Looking for Riding Poses, either Horse or Dragon | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
IMHO some of the best riding poses(for both Vicky and Mike) are in Fyrwerks Defender packages here at the MarketPlace. In fact, while checking to get the spelling right I just found them to be on sale and added their second set into my cart...so I figure you owe me half that purchase price '-)!! Hope this helps! ==steve

Haha! Problem solved! Tho'it's a good thing I didn't stay up just a bit longer last night and get djeser's reply...would've never got to sleep if I had this to play with '-)! Thanks much, folks!! That'll save me the time of saving out and importing this .pz3 out three of four different times!! ==steve
Thread: Importing Poser 5 scenes | Forum: Vue
Since I don't have v5, I certainly don't want to lead you astray here, lululee, but if you do a search with Poser 5 here in the forum you'll find a number of threads that should take care of your situation! Oh, yeah...welcome to the club and all the joys and head-banging that goes with it...LOL! ==steve
Thread: atmospheres from scratch? | Forum: Vue

Thread: atmospheres from scratch? | Forum: Vue
OK.let's see if I can 'splain this right! After saying OK to any old atmosphere '-), go into 'atmosphere editor' and in the lower right there is an icon(page with folded corner) for new atmosphere. From there you can go and elimate all fog and haze and you'll basically have a 'from scratch' starting point. Hope this helps ya out, eb! ==steve

Ahhhh, I can just envision now, kazi...sighhhh... No grampy! Not that yucky 'Make Way For Ducklings' again!! Tell us the one 'bout that time when you had that VUE file that was like a megazillion bytes big on that...uhhhmmmm... it was a windex system, wasn't it...and evvvvverrrrry thing just went crash! ==steve

Ahhh, eb...I feel your pain as this was...I hope it's in the past tense now ;-)...happening too often to me! One thing that has helped me (and you may already be doing this, but just wanted to share this) is a suggestion by MightPete NOT to save over old files, rather save them sequentially i.e. forest scene1, forest scene2 AND use a name of some sort don't just number your saves, i.e. 1,2,3. Hope this helps you or someone else!?! ==steve
Thread: No biggie, but... | Forum: Vue
Evidently not, nish! I just loaded one plum tree and it had no problem duplicating (very quickly) all the way up to 160 of the little babies ;-)! Threw a few volumetric lights, some reflective materials and some fog and haze for good measure and it's still performing rather well, fingers and toes crossed as I type this...of course making it extremely difficult to do so with any efficiency...but things seem back to normal! Now I'm wondering HOW I got myself into this predicament in the first place...hehe?!? BTW, I'm running a P4/1.9GhZ/1GbRAM and my last pic still slowed it down to molasses-like speed;-)!! Must be all them Vikings! ==steve
Thread: No biggie, but... | Forum: Vue
TADA!!! Knew it had to be something simple here...being the software genius that I am...LOL!! I finally pushed 'background draw' AND 'instant draw' all the way up and NO MORE transforming primitives!! ==steve Siggghhh, and they were soooooo much fun to watch ;-)!
