Here are some facts about new and old computer. I hope I've gathered the right info.

1 Gb of RAM
Club3D Radeon 9600Pro (graphic)

Old computer: 4 minutes 50 seconds
New computer: 2 minutes 3 seconds
58% faster
Vue render.
Scene = 04_Dordogne.vue (comes with Vue)
OpenGL off. Res 800 x 600, 300 dpi, Anti-aliasing
Old computer: 19 minutes 45 seconds
New computer: 14 minutes 48 seconds (no difference with openGL on)

Do I understand things right that there is no gain rendering one image with RenderCow? I have the 2 computers connected. Is there another way I can use both to speed things up?

Thank you! I have gone through the manual. Usually always start a new program with reading it. Love manuals. But english is not my language. It is ok with the everyday language but when it gets down to special expressions, like in manuals, it tends to get hard sometimes. But one can never stress reading manuals enough! So thanks anyway. :o)
Thread: Making an animation path... | Forum: Vue
I messed around a bit with the settings and all of a sudden I was able to see quite good details on my mountain! Can't figure out what I did... =o] but I'm happy it worked like that. Now it was no problem placing a trail on there.

I figured I'd do some solution like that. :o) I'll do the wireframe also and see what I come up with. Since I made the trail first, by its own and then modelled the mountain around it it may be easier to use only the trail to start with. Well, I'll be back to share how it ended. Thank you for all suggestions.

Here is the "blob" and the rendered mountain. Couldn't find another name for it.
Is there a way to see more details?

Any .hr2 (hair files) and .rsr(with same names)go in Runtime/Libraries/hair - folder. Any folder of your choice.
Any .obj files goes in the Geometry folder (Runtime/Geometries). You can create a new folder with name of your choice and place them there.
Any .cr2 and .rsr (with same names) will go int the Runtime/Libraries/Character. And again, you can have your own folders.
Any .pp2 and .rsr (with same names) go in Runtime/Libraries/Props.
Any texture files (.jpg .bmp .tif, etc) go in Runtime/Textures. Or you can have them where you like.
Any .pz2 and .rsr (with sam name) go in Runtime/Libraries/Pose. Some hair colors and styles are in this format.
Hopefully the pro's correct me if I've got it all wrong. ;o)
Hope this helps.

As soon as I closed internet after posting here, I figured I reinstall the Mover. And that was it! I had installed it in a folder on its own when it should install in Vue folder. Apparently I read everything except how to install it... hides face in shame
Thank you for responding so quick. I didn't have time to delete the message.
