Thread: ot: semi animated movie Immortal | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Actually caught some of this on a cable channel recently and it is really, really weird. Love stuff like this. I definitely need to find out when it will be rebroadcast to watch the entire movie.
Thread: Figure Height Problem? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I read somewhere in the forum that the figure height within Poser does not work as well as it should. You should scale your figure accordingly using the scale dial in in the properties window. There is an excellent tutorial I found on ShareCG which covers a detailed explanation on height dimensions for DAZ figures. Link:

I hardly know you but good luck just the same. I don't think you should be saying goodbye, just saying see you next time.

I agree with Gareee, try reinstalling the software. Something does sound to be corrupted.
Thread: OK, how do you turn off V4's nipples? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Winterclaw is correct. Make sure the V4 body is selected, that will contain the FBM's for all the parts.
Thread: Runtime Migration | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Why don't you just add the runtime to your Poser 7 library? Go to the library window and click the upper left folder until you reach the Poser 7 folder. Click the + button on the bottom, the help text will say 'Add runtime'. Also very large runtime folders just bogs down the program. You should break the monster down into smaller, manageable runtime folders with specific content rather than 1 containing everything.

No morph dial for no nipples? There should clearly be a dial for that. Unless it only comes with morph++ pack. I'm almost positive there is such a beast. I'll have to check when I get home this evening, I'm currently not at my own computer.
Thread: Moving Poser to another disk | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Through my experience there shouldn't be any major problems. There may be issues if it starts to look for something engrained on the primary drive designation but that may need to be addressed through the application properties. Typically, I keep all major programs on the C: but I see no reason or problems relocating Poser onto a secondary drive.
Thread: Adapting clothing between figures? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
PhilC puts out WW. One drawback is the pokethrough issue many encounter even with regular character dedicated clothing. But this is usually an easy fix with some tweaking in the software(s) to reconfigure the mesh.
Thread: Which files do I save and where do I find them please? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
When you say "....delete the default character..", are you physically deleting the character from your runtime folder or deleting the character from the preview window in your application? You need to be specific in order to help.
Generally, 3rd party content would be safe if you uninstall the application. The Poser folder and the runtime Folder within will not disappear, only the application components. Uninstallation will only target components originally installed with the program not anything else added afterwards unless they happen to be Service Release.

EvilInnocence has CrossDresser. I have tried both Wardrobe Wizard and CrossDresser with some degree of success. Sometimes it is right-on-the-mark, other times you have to go back and tweak your settings.
Thread: Ground shadows | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
As I understand, you want no ground shadow. Period. I would try switching off shadows on that main light and use spot lights on your characters possibly from the same angle to preserve model details.
Thread: importing a background | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The prop/background approach is an excellent one. I forget but there is a posing tutorial which outlines step-by-step the method to accomplish this. Of course keep in mintd shadows cast on a flat prop will yield flat shadows. I used this technique to creat the background on my avatar.
Thread: Props that fly away and then snap back | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Have you tried conforming the belt first to the character, then parenting the prop to the belt? Or try positioning your prop to the character's hip and actually parenting it to that body part. It may correct that problem you're having.
