Phil's Kendo/Martial set isn't a freebie so you'll need to check his non freebie section. It's quite a nice set though. Has both M3 and V3 versions for "standard" martial arts clothing as well as Kendo gear.

I like the original picture actually. It's dark and gloomy without being too dark. Very moody and evocative. I can see the details just fine on my monitor which is set nowhere near max brightness (and in fact is very near the minimum setting). I am on a Mac FYI.

I have a Gforce 4 ti right now and it's a nice card. I didn't get a superdrive installed in my machine when I got it though. I wonder what a gig of RAM will give you in terms of render speed for the milk scene? I'm guessing somewhere between my results and drumguys. Maybe around 2:45?

Yeah I would assume a dual 1.25 would be faster. My guess is something like 2:30 for that scene. Kinda curious myself now. Of course rendererer's G5 test makes me really want one of those! :)

Was this one of the fixes mentioned in the update? I thought I remembered it being listed but I'm not sure. I haven't actually gotten around to installing the update myself.

Hey Echo! This isn't quite what you asked for, but until someone with a dual 1.25 and a copy of C3 comes along, this'll be the next best thing: Dual 1.0 ghz G4 with 512 MB RAM rendered that scene in 2:58. That was with all the render setting set at whatever the default values are for that scene.
Thread: Crowds and Audiences in Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't know if this is so much a short cut, as it is a way to not slow Poser to a crawl, but you could use a "cardboard cutout" method. Basically a flat plane with a texture of a person combined with a transparency map (to get rid of the excess surface area). Place a bunch of em around and it'd look like a crowd or audience. You could probably save the prop to your library and keep adding them in to your heart's content. Maybe make a couple of variant textures so not everybody is wearing the same outfit. Haven't actually tried this, but it sounds like it could work....

LOL @ Staby's comment. You know, I loved the original Japanese version. Thought it was creepy as all hell (haven't seen the sequels though). The American remake, eh, not so much. It was alright, but just not the same.

To be honest I'd be happy with something just carried over my transparency maps and worked with Poser 4.

Looks really cool. Since I already got Buster, I guess I should d/l Lizbeth too. Thanks for making these available.

There is a Carrara/P5 plugin being worked on. I'm not sure whether it supports importing of pz3's or if it's just supposed to make importing individual figures easier, or what exactly. I don't even know if it will support Poser 4 or not (although I hope it will).
Thread: A clean expletive? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
LOL maybe it's just me but I really love the suggestion to use "Shatner" as an expletive!

It'll make an awesome poster for sure. Congrats on getting the picture to take shape, and for soing such a great job on it. It's always nice to see non-cheesecake Poser art--of course I'm saying this as someone who's been doing quite a bit of cheesecake recently. LOL.

A friend of mine a long time ago was fond of "Oh fudge!" Or: Craptastic Rat's Buttocks! poo (as suggested by someone above as well)
