I was working on making the bottom glass broken, but it doesn't want to work. The highlight stays there with the transmap, and if I turn off the highlight, it looks terrible. So it will stay that way. I changed the symbol for the name so I could give the robots more of a variation. I'm sort of leaning towards a more ancient alien look with the 'dirty' robots. I want to make the 'clean' robots look as if they were man-made.

Actually I was using a transmap: Just not in the picture I've posted. My origional idea for Nessifer was to make his organic parts out of 'energy' . Both his brain and his tentacle were transparent. I just didn't know if you guys would like it, and it takes longer to render. So I left it out. I'll have some more pictures to post soon. Thanks for all the feedback!

I could get that no problem. Hang on and let me find an example...that will help. I'm pretty sure there has to be some texture work involved with the process I'm talking about. Alright, I found one. This is from Davo's Armor Shard kit. See the 'ripple' things doing down the side? How would that be achieved? Texture work in Photoshop? Or just advanced trans maps? Well, yeah. Of course I know that. But you can't get that with JUST trans maps and materials in poser. There's something you have to do in Photoshop, I believe. A tutorial for this would be great.

By the way, It would have saved a lot of time and maybe a little less embarassment if MaxxArcher had asked me about this in private first. I'm not a bad guy....I would have stoped production on my texture if he had shown me proof. But uhh....now everyone sees this. Wouldn't it have been a little nicer if I had been told this in private? I could see doing this if you had asked me about it and I had ignored him or something......My life moto is "Be nice". Now I have a lot of apologies to write -- . Oh well....This letters' purpose isn't to get people to flame MaxxArcher or anything. It's just here to remind people that public embarassment isn't always required. Try to talk to the person before going through such measures. And be nice about it ^^ .
