Thread: Signatures? | Forum: Vue
My two cents... if you have a scanner, try scanning your own signature in shades of gray and use the pic in a Vue terrain then clip the unwanted parts.. you can obtain a very neat 3d effect with the whole range of Vue's texturing and lighting :)

Thread: Crash & crashes.... | Forum: Vue
Normally VuePro, on startup should tell you if your card is recognized and compatible... then, if it is, the first thing to try if you experience crashes is to try disable 'backdraw thread"... if this doesn't solve the issue, I feel you should simply reinstall completely the app.. I know this seems absurd, but many have observed that the first install is sometimes defective. Hope you can get through that ;) Paul (P.S of course be sure you have the latest updates for your video board.. and the last official update from E-on)

Maybe You mean you have a problem while trying to work WITH this tut ? I tried it I've Vue Pro, the tut is on CD3 : 07Flickering lights and all is OK everything works... maybe a screenshot of the prob would help ? (if you have no tool to make a screenshot, use the printscreen key of keyboard, go into your usual 2d app, edit/paste...) Paul
Thread: Camera Object Properties | Forum: Vue
Now you must be aware that this zone represents only a space where sharpness is SUPPOSED to be tolerable the real 'total' sharpness would be where the square helper dot is ... a virtual plane in fact
this tolerability being really subjective you may find, with large amount of blur percentage that you can't obtain your object sharp enough to your taste ...
[but if you look only for the wideness(larger angle)it is the FOCAL setting you have to reduce(as for a regular camera, the smaller the number, the wider the angle...)]
(Pardon me if I did not understand the point of your question exactly..)

Thread: Camera Object Properties | Forum: Vue
Depending on whether you have Vue4 or Vue4 Pro, the answer would not be exactly the same... in Vue4, when you choose some blur percentage, you'll see two planes appear in the camera cone (the lines that materialize the sight of cam in 3D views) This is the zone in focus. the more you augment the blur, the shorter the space between thee planes. when you edit the number in control, you move this 'zone box' along the cone. In Vue Pro there is a 'helper'(in form of a small squared dot) you can move more precisely and even link to the object of your choice that you want to be kept in focus.. in both cases I find it preferable to choose a long focal for camera... hope this helps a little Paul

.. It is not the terrain you need to edit if you want to modify its texture, it is the material of your terrain... right click in mat preview and edit... for the triangle ? ..maybe two objects not joining... did you use boxes or terrains with water mat ?
Thread: vue 4 prof. different render modes.? | Forum: Vue
You just select menu/ Python/run Pyton Script... you'll get a file browser letting you choose the script... after running the script, render your picture!
