I have 12 gig mainly due to the motherboard I have which is one of the original X58's from intel, and that it is a genuine Intel board and well for that reason it is a bit dicky when filling all four slots.

The new generation boards are better now and even the new 2011 socket looks nice specially if you can afford a a hex-core cpu with 6 processors that would be sweet. ;)

I have the odd hiccup now and then but nothing on that scale, not sure what would be doing it. I gather you turned off hardware shading that might help I know I do as when I have to move camera's around for posing having it on slows down things a bit.

If not that then not sure maybe could be video card drivers, or you could try to reset to factory settings to see if that helps. If not then not sure what you can do.

Yeah looks like they heavily modified one of the two outfits used.

Thing being the new way you don't even log in, and well if yes it can be a pain but what ya gonna do, this is the is the way most companies are doing things now. And I remember everytime I wanted to use the old store I had to disable my modems harware firewall to download or even access the store properly..

And  unless you disconnect from the net and move to a remote location where no one lives they know where you are everytime you buy something with a credit card or sign up for something online, do your taxes so long as this company is not run by organised crime then you should be safe..

But in the end just about everyone has your personal information you just don't know it. (Example: Facebook and that would be more scary than anything. Infact you would be giving out more information to Facebook than most others.)

Yes the more the merrier, for me I have 12gig can't really go higher due to having an original X58 Black Axe mobo that is picky about ram setups.

But in the end 12 gig seems to be heaps for me considering I had 6 gig for about 3 years.

Also if you are using Windows 7 make sure it is either the Ultimate or Professional versions.  As Windows 7 Home Premium only recognizes 16gig of ram.

Thatnk you yeah I might have to go the 2d route with my renders.  Benice if they had a way to adjust via a dial that turn off in raytracing setting. :)

Ahh thank you Pret-a-3D &  Flenser for the information, the skin is pale coz of the subject of the picture, the light I think was a mesh light but not sure. And will work on the glossy side of things but am really hanging out for Reality 3 because I like using Poser for the bulk of things I do over Daz Studio.

I knew it wasn't Reality, but I always wondered why Lux Render did this sort of thing, shows how much I have yet to learn about it. :)

One thing that will be interesting to see between Reality 2 and 3 is the problems with fireflies and artifacting that occurred when using Daz Studio / Reality 2 and Lux 1.0 RC1 & 2 and well even 0.8 and 0.9.

I found where artifacting and fireflies happened was with either shiny materials and some textures.  Could be that I just never let it go long enough but the case with the example below was about 500 to 600 Px this was a test to see how my actual pic went but as you can see all that mess on the clothing this was the problem I had most of the time with certain materials.

Not sure what was doing wrong but it seemed to really only affect shiny materials and if that was a matte material there were not so many problems.

But then again I never fiddled around with Realities settings so could have been that too. :)

But to the main part I will be most stoked about seeing what Reality 3 brings and does better in Poser I am very excited. :)

Well I have gotten Firefox with Adblock Plus to work with the new market place system, not sure what I did, I just fiddled around adding & removing filters till I got what I wanted and now everything seems to be working fine now.

Mmm only now before I went on a rant did I find that hovering over top brings up the catagories. Wouldn't it be better to have a word that is more intuitive than just saying "TOP" for the hover menu as it will confuse a lot of folks like it did me when I first saw it.

Even the word products or catagories would be better than "TOP" something to make it stand out from the rest of the page something to say "I am here hover your mouse pointer over me." 

Thank you, I have version 2 and find it very easy to use. Am waiting with anticipation to see what new surprises you have for us. :)
