Thread: Vicki version of favorite P4 clothes item | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The Blouse at Props Guild does indeed seem to be the one that I was remembering. However, I was looking for a version for Vicki regular, not Vicki P4. A vicki version of this item would be pretty much perfect. Thip's jacket is close, but I'd prefer something will full length sleeves. You know, thinking of all the options, there's a specs here for something like some of Anton's "changing" clothing Changing posable blouse - Neck: Geometries for several 'collar' options - Mandarin, standard collar (morph for peter-pan), collarless. Chest/Abdomen: Geometries for closure type - buttons, zipper, hidden closure, frilly front. The forarms would have options for long sleeves or elbow-lenght, and the shoulder would have be switchable between short sleeves, cap sleeves or longer sleeves - A morph for "rolled up" sleeves would fit in nicely. Morphs on the abdomen for tucked in or loose, and perhaps the waist should have a geometry for shirt-tails. The ability to opne/close the shirt should be a full-body morph, with the ability to open each side separately, from the top, from the bottom, or evenly along it's length. Damn.. if only I could create models.. If anyone takes this as inspiration for a product, I'd appreciate being included on the beta-tester list?

Looks Like Jim doesn't want to take me up on my offer of the Musical Ride ticket.. Ah well. Can't blame a canadian for asking.. What's going to be the price on the essentials pack?

Nah. The Canadian currency has always been dollars, ever since Confederation. (i.e. when we actually became a country) It's intersting to note that until about the 70's, the Canadian dollar was actually worth about $1.10 American. Then things started sliding and we've ended up just on the low side of 65 cents. Tell you what. You send me a SMV II, and I'll mail you a nice, crisp Canadian $50 bill. It's red, and has the Musical Ride on it :)

Jim. I'm a Canadian. If you'll let me pay $50.00 Canadian for her, I'll buy her. But the price I saw on your website was $60.00 U.S. That's over $90.00 Canadian. One Dollar Canadian is 63.57 cents American. Please DON'T assume that every customer you have is using the same currency. Exchange rates hurt your customers a lot And I've supported a lot of your stuff that you've brokered.. The Hollywood and San Francisco Hair, and I'm looking at getting the French Maid costume or the sweater and skirt combo next. But whatever price point you choose looks MUCH higher to me than to your U.S. customers - there's a psychological chill factor. Consider if you looked at every price in the marketplace - and the DAZ Store and had to multiply everything by 1.5. How much stuff would you find appealing at that new price point? RJust something to think about.

I'd love to buy her.. but I can't really afford $90.00 for another Vikki Variant.. Don't get me wrong, sh'e great.. but just out of my price range right now, especially after all the brokered stuff I bought at DAZ...

Thread: Useless DAZ Gift Certificate | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Staby, it told me that my certificate wasn't good when I tried to pick up the one item, the Lucie character pack. When I bought the Fantasy wrap however, I got NO notification - it just didn't use the certificate. And Lorraine, I HAVE the up-do hair. And the textures and MAT pose files for it. I mentioned in my reply to the survey that my primary interests were in Victoia add-ons and Poser Envronments. Guess what pretty much is all brokered stufff. That's right. Victoria Add-ons and Poser Environments. I told them what I wanted, and they said "Have some free stuff, but not any of the stuff you want" Really nice of them, no?

Thread: Power Girl | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
There are three distinct Power Girl costumes. The one you did is from her JLA/JLE appearances, and the latest GL story. Most of the time she's been seen in a plain scoop-neck white leotard with belt, boots, gloves, and cape. That one is derived from the original Wally Wood costume design from the 70's JSA revival where the leotard had a high neck and a circular cutout over her cleavage, and the belt was a hip-hugger. With this costume her hairstyle was more of a bubble-cut. She's always been quite buxom, showing her origins as a Wally Wood character creation. She started off as the Earth-2 Supergirl, but after the Crisis was revealed to be the grand-daughter of Arion of atlantis, kept in mystical suspended animation for several thousand years.
