I simply read the readme file. Almost all say that it's okay to use in away, commercial or non-commercial.

However, every once in a great while, the modeler says NO. You can't use his items in any commercial way. That clarifies things greatly. I won't. I won't even download it.

However; No credit will be given the modeler because no one will see his work. I DO credit people for their work.

People like Yanelis3D, Carl Culberson are great artists and modelers and give away work they think isn't up to their standards. Work that just blows me away. Or sometimes they just like to give. I always give them credit. If you take the time to contact them, you'll find they are pleasant, gracious, and quite generous.

Now I just need an apron that will fit a fat man and add a beard and my chef/short fry cook will be all set!!

Same here. I have the latest version of FIREFOX but this also happened with Internet Explorer 8. I am running Windows 7. So the latest and most of standard of all apps.

I can't download anything! I get the same XML code problem.

They are still working on the new site. I just shopped there about a half hour ago and it worked fine. Good Luck

Good Luck. Finding stuff for Aiko 3 is getting harder and harder. When new stuff appears I generally snap it up right away, if just to show support and perhaps generate new models from the artists. Thank goodness for those that still support my favorite girl.

So far it's been 50/50. Some artists are willing to deal privately for a pulled item while others don't even reply!! Still others reply but the answer is no, they won't sell for reasons that are important to them.

You can guess which artists I'll support later. Thank you, Yanelis!!! You rock!!

Okay. Time to come clean.

Genie 1 - There was a TV show called I Dream of Jeanie. Hot Female Genie, Highly Moral (though some would say dumb as toast) Master.

Genie 2 - A movie called The Thief of Baghdad (And all remakes).

Genie 3 - The Twilight Zone - Pawn shop owner finds a bottle. Genie inside gives him 3 wishes. That his wishes don't turn out as well as he had hoped is an understatement.

I'm not counting the guy in my living room who claims to be a genie. He is gonna get machine gunned!

DAZ probably got a notice from the state of California.  Just because it is tedious to collect it doesn't mean it can't or shouldn't be done.

It's not whether it's can't or shouldn't or tedious. I would imagine it would be a few lines of code referring a database of states with yes or no and an amount. It's whether it's required or not. Reading above, it sounds to me like it's not required. Who wants to pay more? No guessing. No probably. Either they must or must not. Once more, is DAZ running out of money? Is it no longer profitable?

I hope it is. While I'm not crazy about the lean toward DAZ exclusive products, I still like some of their content and want them around.
