Thread: More use of "intersect" boolean | Forum: Bryce
Prior to toying in Bryce, I probably would have thought it was just an interesting abstract. However, I can truly appreciate the techniques more. Fantabulous!

Once again thanks guys. Not only are you a Bryce support group, you're an emotional support group aswell. Feels good being apart of such supportive and positive people. Diolma nothing would please me better than to buy another PC. But, I had to plead with my wife not to cancel our DSL line. A new PC would be a tough sell, especially now that winter's coming and heating oil is expected to go through the roof. But maybe a little candle light, some romantic music, get grandma to take care of the kids for the weekend... Hmmm. Hey, any you girls out there have some ideas 'bout romacing my wife to soften her up for the "Get bandolin a new PC sales pitch"? ;-)

Thanks for all the support guys. Revenge is a double edged sword. It'll most likely back fire on me. I'll just concentrate on doing the best job I can and hope to out-shine him. I'd prefer to not give this pin-head a moment's thought. Although, my favourite book of all time is "The Count of Monte Cristo" by Alexander Dumas. But, Edmund Dantes had unlimited resources and 25 years to carry out is vendetta. In hind sight it was largely my fault for giving this guy an opening to screw me. He comes off being a really friendly guy, but when it comes to office politics he's a real nazi. He's the kind of character you see in Survivor. You know the guy that makes alliances with everybody, knowing full well he's going to betray them. Furthermore, I've read Sun-Tzu's "Art of War" at least 5 times. I should've known better. Hey Pog, I didn't know you were from Ireland. My mother is Irish. Her family is from county Kildare. Erin go braugh!

Used to live in San Fran, but the most I ever experienced while I was there was a 4.8. The Richter Scale is geometric, so a 5.8 is an order of magnitude greater than I've ever felt. Soyez prudent mon ami...

Thx. I wonder who started that image clich Is it because there are loads of free swords and temples out there? Are there that many Rober E. Howard fans out there?

Thread: Sept. Challenge entry... | Forum: Bryce
My photography teacher (from way back when) called this an Editorial Inquisitive Composition. Whereby, the image is attempting to lead the viewer towards a conclusion by enticing them to ask questions and hopefully tell a story by doing so. She went on to say that the photographer should never require the viewer to ask more than 3 questions. Otherwise, it becomes an exercise in frustration. "Who is waiting in the shadows?" There's someone waiting in the shadows. I can't see anything there and my monitor's Gamma is maxed-out. I'm getting scared...

This is a fascinating composition. The gun and the stain below the window which looks like blood is compelling. In the darkness (the lower left) perhaps a leg could be added (as if someone had been shot), just barely visible. I don't know, just a thought. :-|

"bandolin...Renderosity orginally started as a Poser gallery site. So that's why it's predominently Poser orientated...Bryce is second place. :)" Ardiva I did not know that. So we're pretty much riding on Poser's back. Gee, thanks Poserites, this is a great forum anyway you strike it. Incarnadine What's NVITWAS?

I saw a Barney being tied down by smurfs ala "Gulliver's Travels" here on r'osity some while back. Can't remember what gallery though. Poser's definetly the driver for this site however. Just look at the Banner ads and the number of merchants selling poser stuff. I for one never get tired of scantily clad poser chicks. Frankly, I see far more frumpy women and fat balding men in the real world that I don't need to see it in 3D art. Then again I've been told that Bryce has more dimensions than my character. Ah well, back to reading Dale Carnegie: "How to win friends and influence people". ;-)

Thread: How Do YOU Design Your Scene's____? | Forum: Bryce
I'm in the process of creating a 3:04 animation in Bryce. With on scene coming from poser because I'd like a face to animate. The animation has 8 cuts and I'll probably assemble it in QuickTime Pro. However, the only way I know of making it 360 navigable is using QuickTime VR.

Thread: Random thought....... | Forum: Bryce
I wonder why there haven't been a plethora of celebrity Poser figures. I would image there would be a huge market for Elvis, Bogart, Monroe, Brittney Spears and such. I for one would love a figure of Eva Gardner, Veronica Lake, Grace Kelly and Lauren Bacall circa 1945. :-O I'm getting goose bumps just thinking about it.
