Doesn't matter what a Vendor make, add ons, characters, figures, clothes, Merchants Resources. 

It seems that the work gone into something so many times goes unappreciated, instead of patience on something that's only been available a few days this thread has turned into a beat down of the skills of a person who has feelings. 

I'm not going to say Scarlett is perfect but has any figure been when first released, there's usually service releases after or updates.  

This community shouldn't be bashing him but trying to encourage improvements or updates to the figure, honestly if i read this as the vendor in question i'd say stuff ya and walk away.  Look into your own hearts on how you'd feel to be on receiving end of a lot of whats been said because honestly I wouldn't like it personally. 

There's errors, ok fine fair enough, but point them out nicely, be polite in criticism because you don't know what goes on in that person's offline life any more than they do yours.

I think the problem is that a flawed product is presented, and before people can point out the flaws and suggest ways to fix, other people start raving about how "OMG it's the best ever!" and "It's perfect, better than anything out there". The percieved anger about the flaws is most likely originally aimed at the people who are thus praising a flawed or broken product, not the creator, but tone and intent are impossible to read on the internet. And when the flaws ARE pointed out, others will often claim they aren't flaws, or "you don't see them when rendered", which is patently (and provably) untrue.

I have heard that argument before that hey all these couple of people said it was awesome and therefore I was irate. I don't know about most people as I am only my lonesome but really I make my own opinions. If folks love it that is fine, people get excited, ... I don't think t hat means folks should then get all irate and blame it on the good stuff folks say as an excuse to be destructive. I been on the net a long time many forums, ran them, tone and intent IMHO is very easy to read in posts. Maybe that is just me but I think written word tone comes out rather nicely... I read a lot of fiction so maybe that's it :)  Folks are going to say what they will. Nature of the beastie, doesn't mean it has to get impolite and destructive. I appreciate honesty and I boil down a lot of this anyways reading through this post anyways, but... I still believe that there are better ways to communicate dis-satisfaction and the like than some have done in this forum thread.

Erm... I ONLY sell at DAZ. And even many of my brokered products are for both. DAZ has said nothing to PA's in any way shape or form about to support or not to support, and except for their primary figures, almost everything at DAZ is made by the PA's. We decide what we're going to make. And if you make something to be bought out by DAZ that does not include a Poser version, then DSON files must pass QA, as well.

I know for a fact that the props and mechanical figures that I make that become freebies at DAZ will work directly in Poser without DSON, as I only have Poser 7 Pro, not a version that can use DSON. On the other hand, some of my work is DS specific, such as outfits for the Genesis figures.

I'd just like to say that the REASON you will not see genesis - or ANY other Poser figure - in Houdini, anything by Autodesk, etcetera, is simple:

They are not programs that people use at a hobbyist level. People who use these programs will, 99% of the time, MAKE their own figures. If you ever go to their communities, people using any sort of pre-made content will be razzed, shot down, and considered amateurs who can't do their own modelling.

That's my $0.02, adjusted for inflation...

As for the saving of point at influences in a pose - nope, it doesn't save. It has to be saved in the CR2 in Poser or the DUF / DSA in DAZ Studio.

Yannow... one set I always considered was missing was a generic 'getting hit' set - various poses of a person on the receiving end of severe blunt force trauma as inflicted by five fighting phlanges. :D Not the offensive side - but the actual 'taking a hit' side, that could be rotated and moved to be on the receiving end of punishment from a wide variety of directions and to a wide variety of body locations...

Nobody except the creator that is. Which is quite discriminatory, yannow... and lends itself HIGHLY to deception.

Scenario 1:

Honest merchant A: I have a new product elsewhere, but I can't advertise it at Rendo. Oh, well.

Scenario 2:

Dishonest merchant B: I have a new product elsewhere. Hey, buddy, make a thread for me!
Buddy C: Of course! And make it not look like blatant advertising, right?
Dishonest merchant B: Of course! Now get on wit yer bad self!

The idea of an "Offsite Merchants" gallery or forum is the best one to date. Or you could actually learn what COMMUNITY means, and get rid of this rule. I closed my Rendo store last year about this time for more and more niggling little things. This alone would have made me close it.

M1 and V1 both have N-gons hidden in their topology, but that was fixed with M3/V3/etc.

And if you don't export as quads/tris, you have an extremely good chance of getting issues.

Dajadues, I suggest you go look at Turbosquid for greed and outrageous prices.

That's because he doesn't pilot it in the conventional way.

The pilot is in a foetal position fully enclosed in the torso, with a direct neural jack to control the suit. :D
