Hi everyone,
I'm still here.. and using Anim8or and Poser as much as ever.
Not made any additions to fast3d for quite a while.
Much of my time is spent on custom meshes for animators, film makers.. and even Archaeology reconstructions.
I've got quite a backlog of stuff to post to fast3d.
Didn't realise site was down until I had email from English Bob.
I've contacted site staff and I hope to get reply soon.
All my stuff is free for all so feel free to post it to one another.. or anywhere!
Let me know if you need anything.
Good to see all the familiar names.. I can't imagine a life without 3D and Poser.. sad eh'?
Cheers for now, Gerald.

Wow folks!.. You've certainly given something to work on.. I've defraged using Perfect Disk, and will try a small runtime. I've looked inside Poser.ini but don't seem to have LIB_POPUP_TIMEOUT. Cheers, Gerald.Thread: A Compendium of PZ2 Techniques. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks Les, I use magnets as one of the tools when making clothes, your pz2 files for adding all body parts, and partially hiding magnets are most useful. Cheers, Gerald.

Thanks Les, Main Camera Fill Light... I'm using this right now! Very useful. No matter how long you've been using Poser there's still good stuff to learn. Gerald.

For me it has to be PhilC's clothing creation software.. particularly obj to cr2. Really good.. easy to use. If you like making meshes, buy it! Gerald.

Making this started driving me nuts! Both the handset and the base required numerous restarts... they either looked too blocky or too soft/rounded.
Gerald.

***Hi all,******All my little meshes are still made using Anim8or.. I only use progs like Cinema for things like springs. I use Anim8or in conjunction with Remotekeys.. macro program.. speeds up accessing menus.***A few tutorials can still be found on my site. Good luck using Anim8or.. like all modelling progs.. once you get used to it you can make most things!
Regards, Gerald.

What a great MT.. Posette still has much to offer those with slower systems. Considering how old the mesh is, it's so frugal but renders really well. Thanks, Gerald.ps.. This is about as big as she gets on my system!

Hi all,
Just to say thanks for your thanks and kind words.
Making this stuff is good fun.. like sketching really, how little a mesh is required to give the impression of the object?
In looking at finished renders a persons attention is generally focused on the main subject.
All my renders tend to feature post work in PhotoImpression to add lighting and slight partical softening. Much quicker than using Poser alone on a 1.2 Athlon..
Regards to all, Gerald.
