Thread: Woo-hoo! More new red hair textures- complete your collection! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think another question is why someone would persist in doing something that aggravates people. Compared to what it was the amount of new freestuff items has slowed to a crawl because of the new policy of reviewing the items. To have items that are continually, ad nauseum, reposted can only further slow up the process and for no real benefit to anyone other then btsculptor. Also I believe there is an open hostile arrogance involved suggesting that he isn't bound by the same rules as everyone else. I would imagine if everyone started reposting all their freestuff items for a week or two that this would start ascending up the admins to do list.

Just out of curiousity, are you bringing the image into photoshop to put another image behind it. If thats the case it would be easier to use whatever background you wanted to use and then import it into poser, which would still allow you to manipulate the model and you could change the background whenever you wanted. If I've completly misconstrued your purpose for doing this I apologize. If I haven't go to file, import, import backgound and your image will be behind the model. Bill

Thread: Question on the Mertail mappaks. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Tasquah, Thanks for the reply. That's some real strange wording from daz. The seventeen number still doesn't make any sense. There are nine files 1 bodyhandle on, 1 bodyhandle off, 1 scale bump, three texmaps, and three transmaps. So where do they come up with 17 file sets? Is one file set 1 trans,1 bump, and 1 tex, and another file set is the same trans and the same tex without the bump. And then those two file sets become 4 if you add body handle on, and then 8 if you add body handle off. I'm begining to rant. The upshot is that I assumed that declaring the 17 mat pose sets as a separate enity from the matpose items, (tex, bump, trans) was a typo and they meant honest to goodness poses which is why I bought it. Thank God it was only $1.99. Again thanks for the reply. Bill, from the fog shrouded hills of Houston
Thread: Problem With Stormguards from Daz ( I think it's the cr2) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with Gorodin. It is a very fine product. It fits well, looks good, and can be used on Mike Vic,and Steph. Just for the record I never considered this a problem with Lourdes. I don't even have a problem with the updated files having an error. Mistakes happen. What I do have a problem with is Dazs' tech support. This was the first time I've ever dealt with them and I anticipated the same exemplary customer service I've gotten from Ms. Reba Vest, always courteous, always willing to help. Instead they disregarded my suggestion that the filepath was incorrect. They saw the word obj file and what I consider a form letter spat itself out saying to delete the corrupt rsr, and that took 24 hours to get to me. On a brighter note, I knew I could depend on the members of this poser forum to assist me, which they did and I am forever grateful to all of you that took the time to help. Thanks, Bill

Ailarchendil, You're good. The initial line is Stormguards, the second line is sentinels I changed sentinals to stormguard and it worked like a champ. Now it's off to take it into Vue. THANKS. Bill

Thanks alot Ailarchendil, I feel alot better now. I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. I've recontacted Daz explaining the problem and hopefully they will correct it. To correct this I go into the cr2 change sentinels to stormguards? Thanks, Bill

Jaybutton, Yes I used the Stormguard update. Thanks for suggesting it. Do you have Stormguards? If you do have you tried to save it as a pz3 then reopen it? What's difficult with these problems is you're never sure if it's a result of a strange nuance on your computer and that it works fine for everyone else. Again thanks, Bill

Darken666 and a superhero, Thanks for the response I appreciate it. I told Daz the exact same thing and they defaulted to the bad rsr scenario. I'm going to recontact them to try to fix it as I assume there would be people that would be uncomfortable messing with the cr2. Again thanks alot for the quick response. Bill
Thread: Bryce or Vue D'espirit | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with Sirkrite. Also there is alot of help and content available. Check out the Vue forum run by Guitta, it's great and most helpful. Also Vue is very user friendly. I have Bryce, World Builder, and Vue, Vue is definitly the best. They have a free demo at Eon, check it out. It'll help convince you. Bill
Thread: Mimic purchasers - got the voucher? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi. The email you got called " online order placed" should have the gift certificate number. It will show mimic, underneath that OS, then gift certificate number. The certificate is for $10. The new system doesn't take the number, however, I had to email Daz to get it squared away which hasn't happened yet. Hope that helps Bill
Thread: Ironing out the latest wrinkles,... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi, Hope you had a nice holiday. I tryed to use a gift certificate I got when I bought mimic. I sign in and try to redeem the certificate and it says the key is wrong. I'm not sure what a key is. I got a gift certificate number on the invoice which isn't recognized in the new system. I emailed customer service Monday but haven't heard back from them yet and hoped maybe it was something I was doing wrong. The dragon looks great. Bill
